Drs. Are great staff is disgusting. Been going there over 50 yrs new own thevnew staff very unwelcoming. Incorrect info given twice to me. I changed my frames then couldn't see out of my glasses was told no more changes WHAT? ? I cant see. Said if your not happy call the manager. No thats your job. Owner called me assured me it will all be taken care of well 5 weeks. And i still dont have my glasses come to find out the first time the bifocal was put in incorrectly the manager said . noone checked this before i got them. Smh so it wasnt my fault to begin with. Now i call and another problem with them. Dont think ill be back after all this. Think twice before you go there

I have been seeing Metropolitan Vision Associates since the late 90's. I saw Dr. Scarpace until he retired a few years ago, and now I see Dr. Francisco. He is one of the most knowledgeable and personable optometrists I've seen, and I've seen quite a few over the years as my insurance changed around. I recently came back to Metropolitan Vision after feeling like other optometrists were trying to rush me through. Not only did Dr. Francisco take his time, he explained his answers to my questions as to why other optometrists had under-corrected me in the past.



For context, I have had problems with GPC (Giant papillary conjunctivitis) and evaporative dry eye. Even without insurance, the prices are not "outrageous" as the other poster indicated, and staff has been willing to work with me to find the most affordable solution or pay in installments.



In regards to staff, they are quite personable and truly interested in my conditions. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT GO TO METROPOLITAN VISION!



My family was under the care of the doctors and staff of this facility since 1999 and we just recently found out how INADEQUATE, CARELESS and RUDE the doctors and staff are.



My son was just recently diagnosed with severe keratoconus, which is a disease of the cornea. Which went UNDETECTED BY METRO'S FACILITY SINCE 2001.



When trying to get his medical records for the specialist, the office staff and manager were UNCARING, UNCOOPERATIVE, and just DOWN RIGHT RUDE.



UNTIL WE FOUND A NEW OPTOMITRIST, WE DIDN'T REALIZE THAT OUR FAMILY AND OUR INSURANCE PROVIDER HAD BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF WITH METRO'S OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!!!



VALUE YOUR FAMILY'S AND YOUR VISION BY CHOOSING A DIFFERENT FACILITY!!!
