Daytona Hardcore Tattoo

One star had to be given but negative 5 starts would be my rating.. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! My husband got a tattoo there awhile ago by one of the female artists that also does the piercings. She treated my husband horribly and gave him one of the worst tattoos I have ever seen. The color was wack and the color didn't even go all the way to the lines, and she took 4 hours to finish a small tattoo that should have taken half the time. My husband went back later to have her fix it and she blew him off twice!! The second time he came in, the whole staff treated him like crap! So, he went to the owner to try and get his tattoo fixed and THE OWNER BLEW HIM OFF!!! This girl also did a couple piercings to my ears, and those weren't even straight! When I went into the shop with my husband to attempt to get it fixed the first time, one of the male artists there was looking at my tattoo on my leg and thought he would make fun of it. Mind you this is one of my tattoos that strangers always compliment.. The staff there are rude, unfair, and won't fix their crappy work for free like most tattoo shop would. The owner better get his employees under control with the way they treat their customers, or they may be put out of business!!!

I feel this company deserves zero stars but unfortunately I am prompted to give them at least one.

I got half of my tattoo done there and they fired the guy who did my tattoo....he was going to finish it at a different time for nothing being that I had already paid for the tattoo. But when I spoke to Josh on the phone about it he told me I would have to pay to have it finished even though I explained it was already paid for. He then proceeded to compare it to an automobile shop. Saying that if the mechanic who originally was working on the car quit I would have to pay another mechanic at the same company to fix the vehicle even if I had paid the business to fix the car in the first place. The fact that I had already paid hardcore tattoo for my unfinished tattoo and that they wouldnt honor that is not how to properly run a business. I even told him I would tip the other tattoo artist greatly and he still refused. Not only was he rude but he was completely unaware of how to run a company and inadequate on how to keep a customer happy.

I will never go back there again and I will also inform any one and everyone I know not to waste their time going to this place. This was a complete inconvenience and a total Disappointment. I have six tattoos and this is by far the most horribly run tattoo shop I've ever witnessed.

I have had a cover up done by Paul this past March during bike week in Daytona. My husband and multiple pieces, but these were our first at Hardcore....We won't go anywhere else. Paul did th most beautiful cover up on my back. It was EXACTLY what I wanted, I could have sat there all day and let him work on my back! Only thing is now I want his work done on the other side of my back to match what he has arealdy done. Biketoberfest is coming..and honestyl...this year the only reason we will be going is if we can get into the shop on that Saturday to get more work....and I am praying that Paul will be available to do my next piece....known many tattooist's....sorry nobody matches his work....:)

HORRIBLE! they told me what I wanted couldn't be done then tried to charge me an arm and a leg for something I didn't even want. These people can't draw and will try to talk you into the crappy design they are able to draw. Don't get scammed, go somewhere else.

I have ALWAYS had my tatts done through friends, word of mouth or shops that are "suppose to be number one around" I have lived here 20 years. I have seen some really sad work come out of those very same places...so to keep it short and sweet people...

HARdCORE is the cleanest,most experienced, and most willing to take time to NAIL the piece you've been waiting to get and dying to have...ANY artiist in there will blow ur mind with their ideas skills and end result!!! Tattoos are FOREVER!!! So take a minute, and stop by there. If you can't, at least research a little...I am now having to go to HARDCORE for two cover ups that I totally got in the wrong shop! P.S. "thanx boys, if ur reading this, u guys really get it and bust ur A$$ getting it done RIGHT the FIRST time!!

Paul did my second tattoo and is now working on my new one .He's also working on my boyfriend's tattoo and did his first one. I won't go anywhere else. He does quality work. Both times we brought ideas to him and he only made them better! Don't know anything about all this other stuff people are posting. I just know that Paul is a great artist.

You know, I cannot stand any more of these people bashing this place. First off, the people claiming drinking in the back or "next door"..The "next door" doesn't open until 2 am. So, that puts the kibosh on that. In the back? Really? come on. Also, the comment on the "ex-con who hires ex-cons" Whatever happened to a person paying their debts to society? I guess if they messed up they would want that held in their face for the rest of their lives. The person who was caught holding up a 711 is NO LONGER working there nor will he be coming back. This place gives QUALITY Tattoos for INCREDIBLE prices. You cannot find places like this from where I am from up north for the prices and work you get. People bring in all kinds of crap that they think is great. And the artists like to work WITH you on making your piece amazing. I have never gone against what an artist has suggested and if I didn't like what they were suggesting or didn't want to do what I wanted, I would simply leave. This is America After-all. They aren't forcing you to stay. Places like this don't win multiple awards, magazine covers, etc. if they suck. Get a grip people.

Amazing artists. The only down falls of the shop is they charge you an arm and a leg and then you only get an hours worth of work. Was not happy that every time he sat down to do work he was up and doing other dumb stuff. A 8 hour tattoo got pushed into 12 1/2 hours. total bull-crap. The shop does not work with you about your tattoo either. They want what they want on you not, what you want. You bring in an original design, and I guarantee that isn't what is getting tattooed on your body. Its a sad thing. On their breaks from tattooing, they are usually drinking in the back or next door. I would never recommend this place to any one.

The owner is an ex-con who hires ex-cons and he owns the bar next door to pedal dope. The piercer just got arrested for pulling a knife on the 7-11 guy last week. Make sure your not there the next time the cops come calling, they could think your part of the questionable activity that goes on there. I had to bring a friend to have one of there tattoos covered up anyway. Your not missing anything, really! Except maybe a conviction.

Their art may be wonderful-the artists really rock.The staff in their Beachside sattelight location SUX.Rude inexperienced,NO customer service skills whatsoever.I understand this shops owner really does alot for the community,helps many get back on their feet,but maybe just because someone looks the part , does not mean that they will make you $ In fact I know of quite a bit those girls have lost due to no work ethics whatsoever!!

I see a lot of this all the time, and while I know it is all in the name of marketing, reviews written by owners and employees are not only deceiving the public, it breaks trust right off the bat. It is a good idea, if you are going to pose as a happy customer not to use the account that has the shop name in it or use language only a shop owner, employee or wife would use. I mean, toot your own horn all day, but be honest about it! Own it! There is no shame in that. But there is shame in pretending to be something or someone you are not in order to fool customers. Build trust, don't take advantage of it.

These guys don't play! By far, the best collection of top notch, Professional Tattooers in the area. From Traditional to New School, Portraits and Realism, they've got all the bases covered. No nonsense, and no excuses! Those guys even sponsor the World Famous, Submission Grappling Champion, Kimberli Smith, aka the KRO$$FACE KILLER. How cool is that?

i was impressed by the way the shop is put together,very clean very upbeat.the artwok is worldclass and i got a badass fullcolor piece on my leg.i definately recommend you go to hardcore.

This shop was a little off the beaten path, but it was well worth going there. I kept asking everyone around town where I should get tattooed, and I kept hearing Daytona Hardcore. So when I finally went there, they definitely lived up to the hype. They've got like six of the best tattoo artists I've ever seen, and everything they do, they draw from scratch. I just had an idea in my head, and within minutes they drew it up. It was exactly what I wanted, nobody else in the world is going to have my design. And they didin't charge me an arm and a leg for it. So if you want a good deal, the best tattoo, at the cleanest and friendliest shop, go to Hardcore. You'll be glad you did.

Took me forever to find the place. They do good work but it's a haul if you live on Beachside.

Make no mistake, this place is all about good tats. Just wish they weren't so out of the way.

iam from alaska so pertty much had to be one session and paul killed it this tat i got is awasome great work and at a good price. iam comming back not just for the women or sun but for some real ink. like they say........

For a while, I really missed the good old days of getting what you pay for,and more than that,not buying a pig in the poke,so to speak. Daytona Hardcore Tattoo is not only one of the cleanest shops I've ever been in,(and as an avid tattoo collector I've been in alot) but all the work is professionally displayed in a clean portfolio format.Clearly you would have to be a dummy to not recognize that the work is some of the cleanest work around anywhere. No high pressure sales tactics and a lot of technical double talk, but a sells itself quality by people who have tattoos, as well as the knowhow to put one on.The thing that sold me on the shop was seeing a variety of custom work that came from this shop, and I'm not talkin about pick it from the wall stuff. A real unique range in styles,from old school to new.The price you're givin is the price you pay,and the artist to client attention as well as the laid back atmosphere put me right at ease. My tat was alomost healed in less than a week, cause they took the time to explain the right way to take care of it, and the after care instructions are also givin on a card in a very clear straight forward easy to understand format, in english to I might add. If you want the most bang for your buck, I would go see these guys and check em out.Good people,good work,and no attitudes goes a long way with me.Whe somebody takes money from me then acts like their doin me a favor, it pisses me off. these guys are the best artist in the daytona area. the best tattoo i have i got at daytona hardcore tattoo, its a pin up on my leg and it is, with every little detail, exactly what i wanted and for an awesome price too. if your lokking for a new, very awesome, tattoo this is the place to go!
