Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Wow, worst visit ever. We (party of 3) arrived at this location and were immediately seated. Our experienced server (4 stars on her apron)immediately came over and took our drink order. After 45 minutes, she came back to get our food order. All this time, we watched as larger parties were seated, served, eat and leave. We were seated for over an hour before our food finally arrived, cold and wrong. The regular sausage came out as turkey sausage...good thing no one in our party has food allergies. The full order of French toast came out after the rest of the food and as a half order. No jelly on the table; however, there was a ton of butter and cream placed on the table. Trying to be very polite after our patience was gone, we asked the server about the sausage and she treated us as stupid and said we were wrong...that it was regular sausage....I know the difference. We did not complain further and she did not do anything to compensate us for our wait or the horrible service or the horrible food. She never apologized for the food, did not make excuses for the kitchen being backed up (it wasn't as we were seated right by the kitchen) and she basically just "excused" us. My husband complained while paying the check and again, no apologies nor was the manager called to appease us. I did make a purchase in the gift shop; however, the cashier decided that a phone call and her conversation with the other cashier was way more important than taking my money. I will think twice before I ever visit another Cracker Barrel and this is the location near my home.

My son,and his wife took me out for breakfast, yesterday, mothers-day. Cracker Barrel, is usually equipted to handle croud's. We didn't have a probablem with that... The service was OK She brought me coffee, but forgot my son's Ice tea.My son ordered the skillet breakfast.... It was awful... He usually eat's everything, but didn't eat half of it....He said that the menue said that there was gravy . but the food was dry,,, It was suppose to have chunks of ham, not slices, no flavor...the breakfast was realy bad... I ate the pancakes with cherries. that was real good... I think you should dis-continue the skillet breakfast. We didn't return anything or complain because

A dependable choice for good breakfast or dinner food, this chain does a nice job of feeding you well and making you feel right at home. Only problems are during holiday special meals or during big "event" weeks (bikes,races) when crowds jam the place and it seems like they could use more staffers on the floor.
