Mad River Middle School provides academic programs and extracurricular activities to students in grades seven and eight. The school offers curricular and instructional programs in art, computers, Spanish, life skills, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Its music department provides classes in band, chorus and orchestra. Mad River Middle School supports several sports activities, such as football, volleyball, baseball, basketball, softball, wrestling, cheerleading, and track and field. The school provides membership for honor, science, environmental, chess and scrapbook clubs.
