I agree with the person that posted that if your a guy that has any type of dance skills or personable skills the staff will single you and ban you for any reason. The bouncers and staff are pricks and couldn't get a chick if they paid big money. They get jealous if you can dance and get numbers. It's true y'all.

I have been going to Red River in Dallas for a little over a year now. Great place to dance and meet up with friends. The dancers are of all skill levels and they do provide dance lessons on Thursday and Friday nights. My friends and I have generally had a great time on Thursday and Saturday nights.
However, for the last two weekends we have encountered a couple of really annoying things. While they do have a great house band, the volume was set so high that it leaves you unable to even have a conversation without yelling. Ears were ringing for the next day! Really...do you think we can't hear it? It was so loud that you had to hold your glass on the table or it shimmied off on to the floor. NO KIDDING! As well, there has been a progression of people bringing drinks on the dance floor and they spill causing potential danger for those that are trying to dance. Let's not forget those who are just standing on the dance floor talking. Seriously, that is what the bar and table area are for. The dance floor is for DANCING!!! It's typically the younger crowd (those under 25) and they do allow minors. However, let's get some help from the bouncers here. When three of my friends/co-dancers told the bouncers, they shrugged it off and said, 'just let us do our jobs' but then did nothing. As there are not many country bars in the Dallas area, you would think they would try harder to make it a more pleasant experience for those who really want to dance.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat place to go have a couple beers with friends, see a concert, play pool, cards, or dance the night away!!!By the way, on the post below. They run your card through for a set amount at the beginning, then go back and adjust it. That happens when you open a tab!!!! It's to protect them from people running up a tab and leaving without paying. I'm sure if that review checked the next day or two it was corrected. Come to think of it every bar I've been to does that when you open a tab.

Provided by SuperpagesI had a somewhat bad time, their, but with that aside, the place is pretty cool, I mean for a semi-cheap club. I mean there's tons of dancing, bull riding fun, and tons of girls. I just so happened to have had my phone stolen, but I still had a good time. Its definitly not for everyone but, check it out and maybe you'll enjoy it. Like the name suggests its a fairly southern club. So bring your boots. Enjoy.

Provided by SuperpagesMy tab was $6.00 and I left the bartender a $2.00 tip and I checked my account today and the establishment charged me $25.00. I have my receipt and plan on speaking with management.
