Columbus High School is a college preparatory school that serves more than 1,300 students. Its academic program is designed to serve students who are seeking a challenging curriculum to attain college success. The school facility includes more than 60 classrooms, computer laboratories, a cafeteria, a library and various departments. Its sports activities include cross country, track, basketball, golf, soccer, baseball, football, swimming, wrestling, lacrosse, gymnastics and cheerleading. The school, located in Columbus, Ga., also provides classes in various arts forms, including vocal and instrumental music and painting. Its students activities include the National Honor Society, Beta Club, National Thespian Society and the Mu Alpha Theta. Columbus High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
