Columbia Cab

More bad than good experiences with this company over my 17 years in this area. The people answering the phone are usually very curt and the drivers/cars are hit and miss. The straw that broke the camel's back was last week when the driver failed to start the meter and wanted to charge me a "flat fee". I expense most of my cab rides, but the attempt to swindle me as if we were in some developing country tourism situation left a really bad taste in my mouth. Will avoid them as much as possible going forward.

The service is reliable and the driver's have all been courteous. The cabs could be cleaner, but all in all a good company, especially if you compare it to the other companies around (do not confuse with Ellicott City, Columbia, & Maryland Taxi Service because they are the WORST). Columbia Cab is definitely the best in town!
