I just purchased a home, and I feel compelled to write a review of my experience with DMS.
( I have to disagree with somebody who posted a bad review here. Sounds like either a competitor of his or someone with sour grapes., but his or her review is false.)

I had absolutely No Power in more than 1/2 the house, and I called Dave Powell.

Within 3 hrs. Dave found problem and corrected it.
I then asked cost of Installing 10 6" hi hats,
Price was awesome. $ 1,050.00.

Everything is great. My family is so happy.
DMS, you have a customer for as long as I own my home.

I will try to be brief.
Dave and I agreed upon a price to do 3 things for my home for a good price. He is a very smooth talker who talks a good game (ex Navy Seal etc).
Owner Dave arrived without many tools, so I lent him mine. He did not finish the work but requested full payment. He promised his worker would come back the next day to install the replacement sensor light and I would pay his worker the remaining amount when complete. The worker never showed and Dave stopped answering his phone or replying to messages.
He attempted to install a new outlet and box in the wall of my workout room. After he left, I went to plug in my TV and other electrical things, the outlet did not work. Due to his shoddy work I ended up breaking my VCR and TV. He did not attempt to clean up after his work either; I ended up doing that. Now I know why he states he’ll do the work for half the price of other licensed electricians. Buyer BEWARE!

DMS Electric located in the Clifton,Nj area was at my home last week. They installed 10 Recessed lights, dimmer, and did work in my kitchen. All great, I was totally surprized that they left my home as clean if not cleaner than it was at start.

The Owner David is really knowledgeable and did exactly as he said he would. I told my friends,family about my experience. If you want a great Company, use DMS Electric..

"I recently had my old knob and tube electrical system updated to modern wiring by DMS Electrical. It was great knowing how much it was going to cost me in advance instead of wondering how much more it would be every time they discovered some strange new wiring configuration.
