Sal's NY Pizza

The pizza is really good. Amazing taste. I've been traveling and trying different pizzas. The pizza here is REALLY GOOD and prices are cheap too.

I visited the one on Cedar Road and ordered a pie with sausage. Not exactly NY pizza. The crust was very bland (no flavor to it at all); the sauce was sweet; and the sausage were tiny, tiny bits of crumbles with no flavor. It wasn't the worst pizza I've had, but definitely does not compare with a true NY slice.

We are from N.Y. an ordered a pizza from Sal's in Chesapeake. Finally we have a pizza shop close by that sells N.Y. Pizza so we thought. When we tasted it we realized this is NOT N.Y. Pizza! It looked good and smelled good but, what makes a true N.Y. Pizza is the Sauce. This Sauce is too SWEET and has these itty bitty onions in it. this makes it not taste like authentic, homemade or fresh tomato tasting like the Italian Pizza Sauce used by Pizza Parlors in N.Y. Please, we want you guys to stick around. So Please Fix Your Sauce!! Go try a slice at Cugini's or "Pizza Vera" in Greenbrier to get an idea. Thanks.

My family and I live down in great bridge which is out of their delivery range usually. However, since we are such frequent customers the owner allows his drivers to deliver to us. The food is great and the service is awesome. Every time I go on that side if town I have to stop in and grab a slice!! 20$ 24inches is the best deal in town!!!

I live 2 hrs away from here and have no problem making a trip just to eat here! Definitely my favorite pizza place. Amazing taste and great customer service

now i can tell that this place has a real ny style pizza , it's really very delicious and tasty

i've never had a pizza like this before and now i'm a regular customer ,the service was good and the stuff was friendly and respectfull, i really recommend this place for everyone , it's the best pizza in town so far, i love sal's ny pizza

I state that the pizza was mouthwatering and cheesy there crust is soft and tasty. I ordered a gyro and I saw they put it in the oven till it was fully warm the meat was super tasty and all at a low price. :)

Horrible food, the pizza was bland, I ordered a gyro and the pita bread was microwaved because the edges were hard, for those of you who don't know gyro meat comes on a spit that rotates while it cooks, I asked if the meat was cut from a spit and the guy said yes, to my huge disappointment it was not, it was those pre-cut strips that you can buy in the store, and the cucumber sauce wasn't that at all. Terrible food, not only were they not honest about what I asked for but the food did not deliver either.
