Won't buy anything from this FXXX supermarket, bad service, The actual price is always higher than tagged price. make sure you check your receipt before you leave the store, they steal the customers money.

Be ware: NOT child-friendly at all.

I was there with my mom and my 2-year-old daughter. Good Fortune has these cheaply made shopping carts, most of them have broken (or missing) straps/clamps for the child seats. Like many toddlers, my daughter has the tendency to not sit still in her seat if she is not strapped in. One time she tried to climb out in a Good Fortune cart when I was looking for stuff and turned away for just a minute. She could've fell to the ground or tipped the cart or something. After that experience, we always strap her in if we put her in a shopping cart.

So last week, we went there and went through almost the entire two rows of carts, unable to find ONE cart with working straps!! I was so frustrated, thinking that this is ridiculous. So we went inside and went straight to the customer service desk. I told the guy there that I couldn't find a cart with working straps. My purpose was to raise it to their attention so hopefully they'll fix the situation soon, and to ask them if they have a rope so that I could secure my daughter in the cart. The guy's response, before I even finished my sentence, was that the cart was not really meant for kids to sit in. I asked, so... what's the child seat for? He said that they provide the seats, but they don't recommend customers putting the kids in the shopping carts. (So what, the seats are just there for decoration, to give people the impression that they somehow think of the little kids?) I asked him what parents should do if they have small kids with them. He said to put them in the seats without straps, or let the kids walk on their own. I told him that my daughter would climb out. He said that it's "impossible" that a kid would try to climb out of it (uh... do you have kids, sir?)

He said the straps broke because people break them (No, the straps broke because they're cheaply made!!!) I mentioned that this doesn't happen in any other, American supermarkets. Well, he didn't seem to care. I asked one last time, if they have plans to fix the straps. He repeated AGAIN that it's not for kids to sit in, and if we must let the kids sit in, just do it without the strap. I was furious. At that point I decided to walk out of the store. I would not shop in the store that doesn't care about their customers and their safety. After we walked out, I checked the writing on the child seat, and it says, "for kids up to 18 kg." My daughter is well within the range, but I guess the straps are only for decoration.

The guy's attitude may not represent the whole supermarket, but the fact that there is no (or few) functioning (and safe) child seats indicates that they don't give a damn about the little customers. Their stand, according to the guy, is pretty much this: Bring a kid if you want to, but do it at your own risk. Well, I'm not willing to take the risk, and I am not willing to give money to businesses with this kind of attitude.

Bad review……..get set, GO!

When this store opened up, everything was perfect, fresh & convenient, except for the staff in the meat department.

The produce is now molded, expired and the meat is bad and unable to be prepared. I had purchased fresh tofu and when I got home it was sour and has gone bad. I also picked up a bag of bean sprouts and there was mold in the bag.

I witnessed a customer cheerfully walking back and forth throughout the meat section looking for an item. I was about to approach her to ask if she needed my help, instead, one of the staff members from the meat department decided to stomp all the way to this customer, yelling loudly in Chinese “here it is, GOD, you ask & I showed you but you can’t find it DAMN!”, and walked away. The customer just smiled and grabbed the item and left. This staff is a short heavy set Asian guy that wears an earring, approximately early 30’s.

Another visit (a week ago), I was ready to check out. 2 staff members and I had eye contact, but not a single one would acknowledge that I was ready to check out until I asked one of them to find a cashier to check me out. Remind you not, the store was NOT empty and had customers in every other aisle.

The other day my father’s neighbor decided to purchase some meat from the meat department, the meat staff demanded her to leave a tip, she questioned him, why does she “have to” leave a tip? His response was, “I did my job by preparing the meat for you”. When my father’s friend decided to check out at the front register, she was asked by the cashier if she had “left a tip” for the meat department. Seriously??? Since when was it mandatory to leave a tip? Tips in America are given as a common courtesy. This staff member is a tall slim Asian male that wears 2 earrings on one ear, he is approximately in his early 40’s.

I tried calling for the manager, was told to ask for Jason, and never had any luck. He had either left or he was not there.

I sent in a complaint by mail approximately 2 weeks ago, no response.

I have heard rumors that the manager takes the complaints but does not follow up with them. This is just wrong! So I do not feel that sending any additional to the manager will help if nothing has been resolved or changed.

Will I ever return or allow my friends and relatives return? NO! I refuse to allow my friends & relatives be harassed, mistreated or receive the worst customer service!!!

Authentic Chinese Grocery

FINALLY a Chinese grocery near by! Fresh produce, meat, and hot food! May not suit those who are too Americanized. Clean store.

I was checking the condition for a box of asian pears (cardboard box so you can't see the number or state of the pears) and discovered one that had mold on it. So I looked at another box and found two with mold. By the time I started looking at a third box, an employee told me I wasn't allowed to switch between boxes (I hadn't), accused me of switching pears with a pricier brand and to stop looking inside the boxes.
