        Calvin L. HOWTON JR. (president) graduated from Dallas baptist university with a degree in finance. Subsequently. MR. HOWTON began HIS career AT Fidelity investments. AS a retirement specialist. MR. HOWTON learned that customer service and maintaining a Budget were essential in ANY line of work. REMODEL/NEW construction projects require NOT only attention to detail. But keeping the project within the allocated Budget. Following HIS employment with Fidelity investments. MR. HOWTON spent a number of years in Senior management with home depot and lowes where HE learned material specifications and applications that are essential in the construction trade. During this time. HE and HIS father remodeled a number of homes during HIS days OFF. It was apparent. Following these projects. That construction was MR. HOWTON'S Destiny. MR. HOWTON decided it was time to pursue HIS dream and take CL HOWTON construction to the next level. MR. HOWTON devotes HIS time doing renovations. Remodels. NEW construction. And designing projects THOUGHOUT the Austin area. Since then. HE has managed hundreds of projects from total restorations to KITCHEN/BATH remodels. Other than HIS Family. CL HOWTON construction is where MR. HOWTON chooses to BE. Calvin HOWTON SR. (VICE-PRESIDENT and general manager) graduated Also from Dallas baptist university with a degree in management. MR. HOWTON spent the first Four years of HIS adult life in the US marine corps. Following HIS tour. MR. HOWTON dove into HIS Chosen profession AS a project manager in training with Brown & root. Subsequently. MR. HOWTON spent 10 years AS a project manager for kajima corp. AT kajima. MR. HOWTON managed the construction of a multi billion Dollar plastics plant. Many process plants. Computer chip manufacturing facilities and automobile manufacturing plants. Subsequent to HIS commercial construction days. MR. HOWTON managed a LAW firm OUT of Austin. TX. For approximately 10 years. During this time. MR. HOWTON assisted in thousands of cases involving; construction defect. DTPA. Breach of warranty. Product defect and insurance BAD faith. To name a FEW. Following HIS retirement. MR. HOWTON spends most of HIS time AT CL HOWTON construction with HIS SON calvin JR. CL HOWTON construction was founded by calvin HOWTON JR. And HIS father calvin HOWTON SR. In 1997. Specializing in sports courts. Foundations and civil construction during the 1990'S. The Company soon began comprehensive home reconstructions. Additions. And remodels by the early 2000'S. Over the past thirteen years CL HOWTON construction has successfully completed hundreds of remodeling projects including. But NOT limited to; total ground UP restorations. Additions. Roofing. Bathrooms. Kitchens. Siding. Fencing. To name a FEW.         Great Service, Great advise & Great price!

        CL Howton construction has a great website. They have done some fabulous work and I would recommend them for every kind of job, from high end remodels to complete house renovation. They have excellent communication and service.



        We hired Calvin after a very bad experience with a previous contractor. Our project was very big, it required everything from new walls, new flooring, painting, new bathroom, closet, sheetrock repair, countertops and much more.

        Calvin was recommended by good friends so we called him for a quote. He was very impressive from the very get go. He was great with his communication, advice and use of technology. He had laser measuring tapes and used a Blackberry.



        After a few days, Calvin emailed a very detailed quote with floorplans and diagrams. It was by far, the most professional quote that I had seen.

        Since it was a rental property and we had lost money with our previous contractor, Calvin worked with us on our budget and promised to complete the job in less than a month. He also agreed to take his payments in 3 installments instead of 2, which was his policy. All his crew was well mannered and very professional. We felt very safe leaving the house to them.



        All along the way, he was great in recommending the right approach. He was always very co-operative in picking up and helping us buy the right material for the remodel. Even in areas where our design was not final, he made very useful suggestions. Even though, we only had a labor contract, Calvin was very helpful in getting material. He came with us to Home Depot and Lowe's whenever we were confused. Moreover, he was always available over phone and email.



        Calvin worked long hours and did a ton of extra work around the property to make it look better. He did a lot of things that were not part of the deal. He replaced and painted all our doors, locks. He also painted our storage cabinets and repainted the entire house. Regarding the quality, his paint job was fantastic! Much better than our previous contractor. He did a great job at the laminate flooring, tiling and building the deck around our jetted tub.

        Lastly, even though he had important family matters, Calvin completed the job on time.
