Raindango Painting

am writing this way past the completion date because I had waited a while to see how things went and today something happened and I am so beyond angry, I can't even explain how mad we are.



Consultation, set up, agreement went fine. Dealt with Rene. Despite lots of rain and ice, project started in a timely matter. The demolition and building of the structure was fast and the guys who do the big construction work were professional and on time and very cordial. Once the largest part of the structure was finished and there was only inside work to do, work slowed tremendously. I would not be informed told when workers would come out and some days I'd come home and someone would be in the house. If workers would be supposed to come, they would show up at 4 or 5pm. It was if our project all of a sudden ended up on the low priority list. The workers seemed to be exhausted, as if coming from a prior large project.



I was still dealing with Rene. I complained. Work sped up but with terrible craftsmanship, TERRIBLE. Also, according to Rene, work was just about complete. BUT it wasn't.



I put together a list and had pictures of several things that were left unfinished or done wrong or that looked horrible. One of the owner's came out and was flabbergasted. He was very apologetic about what had happened and I only dealt with him from that point forward.



He had me put together a list of what needed to be finished and everything got done FAST and in a great way. I was very impressed with how this guy cleaned things up after the mess that Rene left.



Total time was approximately 4-5 months to complete. We were originally informed about 2 months. Keep in mind...this is no kitchen. NO kitchen for that long.



We were satisfied, settled our 28000 bill and said goodbye.



I was not going to complain but after what happened today, forget that.

TODAY, 12/12/2015, my husband is renovating a bath above the kitchen. He is doing some plumbing work and was plugging off some valves. He went out to turn on the water to see if there were leaks upstairs. Water began to flow after he turned on the water. So, I go downstairs to get some towels and the first thing I see is WATER ALL OVER THE KITCHEN FLOOR.



This water that came out of a pipe upstairs flowed down into the celling area above the kitchen (normal) and then flowed through a vent cover in the kitchen and onto the kitchen floor. THAT AIR VENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE AIR SYSTEM IN MY HOME. IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A HOLE IN THE KITCHEN CEILING.



Not sure if Raindango will read or even respond. I'm sure it's too late to fix this error on their part. It is a dishonest error by one of their workers taking shortcuts. Never again!

Paid for professional painting. What I got was sloppy, lazy and no attention to detail. The crew sent to my house were just laborers, NOT professional painters. My "project manager" was nowhere to be found for all but about 15 minutes for the whole week they were there (until it was time to collect a check on the last day). Would not recommend
