Headquartered in Houston, Luby's operates a chain of more than 125 restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Arizona. Established in 1947, its restaurants offer a range of home-style entrees, side dishes, salads and desserts, such as mushroom chicken Madeira, grilled tilapia, baked almondine, lemon pepper salmon, grilled mushroom pork and chicken fried steaks. In addition, Luby's provides catering services for various occasions, such as birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings and corporate events. The company employs more than 7, 800 individuals and offers several culinary services to health care facilities that provide short- and long-term acute care and senior citizens' care and assisted living services. It is also involved in facility layout and design, procurement, capital investment and management consultation services.
