This is simply a very small ordinary coin-operated, no-frills, nothing fancy laundry - but with some very friendly people working there (the owner is a kind & elderly Buddist woman from Taiwan with a warm word & a gentle smile for her customers). The smallness & intimacy of the place may actually foster conversation and interaction among the increasingly diverse and interesting neighborhood clientele. And you can always step outside while you wait, to the nearby park, or the surrounding boutiques, bookstore, bars, restaurants, and pizza joints.
