Congress Park Elementary School, located in Brookfield, Ill., is a public school that offers classes in prekindergarten through grade six, and enrolls more than 450 students. The prekindergarten and kindergarten programs offer opportunities for learning through guided play within a framework of relaxed orderliness. It is designed to meet the needs of young children and the curriculum includes a wide range of subjects and experiences that introduces reading through a fun, hands-on activity and mathematics and the other subjects are also taught through hands-on and teacher-directed activities. Its elementary school program includes core subjects, such as language arts, science, social studies and math, and extracurricular activities include various sports, such as softball, basketball and swimming.
