The Children s Aid Society has been offering various children services since 1853. The organization serves more than 150,000 children and their families at over 45 sites throughout New York City. The Children s Aid Society offers prenatal and domestic violence counseling services to individuals and families. It also provides college- and job-preparatory training programs, as well as housing assistance. The organization offers free school lunch for children and day care program for working mothers. It administers the Carrera Adolescent Sexuality and Pregnancy Prevention Program, which is operated at nearly 50 locations throughout the United States.
