The older blonde office lady is beyond rude. Their policies are crazy. If you are a step parent you can’t take your child in for appointments. I get fees for missed appointments not cancelled in 24 hours for habitual offenders, but when you have a sick child $200 cancellation fee is crazy....we don’t have ESP and know when our children will be sick!! They can run hours behind or call and reschedule your appointment because the DOC is sick (as your driving to your appointment), yet you have to know in advance when you’ll be sick and need to reschedule?!?!

One star is too much for this place.

From the first time I called to schedule my very first appointment (my only appointment) I inquired about them filling out my FMLA paperwork, as requested by my work. Over the phone they told me that this would not be a problem but there would be a fee, so I scheduled the first available appointment which was 6 weeks out. When I saw them at my appointment and dropped off the paperwork they acted as if this would not be a problem. The day after my appointment they call me and tell me that the doctor will not be filling out my paperwork as I did not want to abide by his treatment plan and that I will not be having any more appointments with him again. None of this was ever told to me by the doctor, and his "treatment plan" consisted of me taking daily pills, which is the only thing I told him that did not want to do. Apparently, that was the only option he had but never explained this to me.

Also, during the appointment he requested that I get blood work done and submit my cardiology records to him, which I said I would do. Not sure why he requested this to be done if the very next day they call me to say that wont be seeing me ever again. When I asked the lady in front office why he wont be seeing me anymore even though he requested the blood work and cardiology information, she replied, "he didn't say".

Now I will most likely be getting fired from my job because my FMLA paperwork has to be turned in within 30 days, and no other doctors office has appointments for 3 months.

I can honestly say that I have 100 times more stress and anxiety now than I did 2 days ago before I saw him. Just an absolutely awful place with absolutely awful, uncaring people running it. Amazing.

This man is a QUACK! I would avoid him at all costs. First when you arrive, you check in with an old receptionist and she is not pleasant at all. She is very rude and condescending.
Now on to Dr. Taylor. I was a patient of his and moved away. I came back to the area and tried to book an appointment with him. Upon calling in, I was told by his receptionist that he would not have me back as a patient. I was shocked. I always showed up for my appointments on time and always paid my co-pays. I was a great patient. I was not given a reason to why I was not allowed back just he did not want to see me. It was Dr,Taylor who prescribed me powerful meds and knows the consequences of just stopping cold turkey but he didn’t give a damn. It’s funny because Dr. Taylor plays himself off as a Christian but I doubt he is Christian at all. Any good Christian would want to help people, but not in his case. I’m sure there are plenty of other good doctors in the Brandon area but I would avoid Dr. Taylor and his associates if possible.

Terrible experience with this office. The office staff is cold, unfeeling and rude. The doctor is always very late and they really don't care to know anything about you except how they can add on ridiculous fees to your bill.

This office is horrible. I have scheduled 2 appointments both times I showed up for my appointments to be told they cancelled it and I would have to wait at least a month. I just moved back here from being away for 6 years with my husband while he was in the Army. During that time I developed PTSD and other issues and now I have been unable to get care since May because of this office. I absolutely appalled!!!

One star is too many for this office. The staff is horrible and do not work with you at all and you get a $35 fee if you cancel an appointment even if the staff incorrectly scheduled you! The psychiatrist is very monotone and doesn't spend much time with you at all. DO NOT GO HERE!

Horrible experience. Dr was always late, preaching hiw I should go to church, laughed at my mental health symptoms. Secretary looks down on all patients and tries to collect no show and late fees for being 5 minutes late when dr is typically 45 minutes behind schedule. Do not go here.

After 2 years of seeing Dr. Taylor, I quit. I got used to waiting anywhere from 30-60 minutes past my appointment time to see him. And that wouldn't have even been so bad if he ever acknowledged it or apologized that he was running late. But it finally hit the point where my last appointment I spent 90 minutes waiting, and no doctor. I'll be sending him a $35 missed appointment bill and finding a new doctor.

I recently had an unbelievable experience with Dr. Taylor and his staff. I wish I had taken the time to read his reviews. I would have never allowed my son to make an appt. Dr. Taylor and his staff are uncaring and insensitive to others. Two days after my son’s appt. with him, I left a message with his answering service stating that I had concerns about his medication. His office did not give me the courtesy of a call back. After calling again I spoke with an office staffer. She tells me she could not discuss any information without a consent form from my son. I understand this is required so my son and I drove to his office and completed the form. I then asked to speak with Dr. Taylor. My son had previously been on the medication prescribed by Dr. Taylor. She tells me that I will have to pay $150.00 for the appointment because there was no mention of any previous condition. I told her my son states he did mention it during his appt. with Dr. Taylor. I also would like to point out 2 days before my son’s appt. He received a call from your office telling him his insurance had a pre-existing clause. Therefore you would not be able to accept my $75.00 co-payment. So make sure to bring $200.00 cash or credit card, no checks. So it was apparent to you that he had to be taking something. I wanted to make Dr. Taylor aware of this, for he may not have known. She basically started to ignore me and speak as if I was a child. So I found it necessary to raise my voice knowing Dr. Taylor was hearing the entire conversation for it is a very small office. I was in complete control of my actions. Dr. Taylor did eventually come out and threaten to call the cops on me. I told him; I needed to get your attention and I got it. If you would have instructed you staff on how to treat people. I would not have had to raise my voice. It took him a few minutes to write a new prescription. Then I left his office. In a letter that I had recently sent to his office I wrote: You and staff need to see us as people instead of dollar bills. Trying to squeeze another $150.00 out of me is shameful. This could have easily been done over the phone. People are complaining it’s not just me. Read your reviews. Needless to say my son has decided to discontinue your service. He does not like the way you and your staff treated him. As a Dr. that has to bother you, unless of course you don’t care. People are coming to you because they are in desperate need of help. It was like your staff was upset with me because I was keeping them from my money. Therefore there was no understanding compassion or respect coming from them. They could care less. We have since chosen another Doctor.

Unprofessional doctor!

I had the same experience. I was being treated for anxiety and he wanted me to get an ekg and blood test. I cannot afford it and didn't like how irritated he seemed when I didn't want to go get it done. He made it a part of the session to talk about my religion and got very offended when I told him I don't go to church. He wanted an explanation and everything as to why I don't go. He mocked me during parts of the session when I discussed my social anxiety and was finding it funny that I wanted to be a nurse but "couldn't deal with people", I was very offended. He has an older woman as a receptionist who is incredibly rude. I had to speak with the younger receptionist, who was very kind, because she was being unbearably rude. I also did not like that there is no one there to get my weight, blood pressure or any vitals. These are heavy medications with serious side effects. I want a doctor who cares whether or not my medications are effecting my health. He is a very unprofessional doctor who could care less about his patients. His detached facial expressions during the session said it all!!!!

I went to this 'doctor' to treat my anxiety. He prescribed new medicine and wanted me to get a blood test and ECG. On my 2nd visit, I asked if he would change my meds due to side effects, and I told him I couldn't afford the tests until later. He became very agitated with me that I didn't yet get the tests done and that I stopped taking the meds. He treated me like a child and almost made me cry. He was NOT professional due to his nasty attitude. A few days later, I was notified by Certified Mail that he will no longer provide services for me. He should not be treating people for their mental health, when he himself needs the treatment. Please do not waste your time and money with this 'doctor'.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!!! D...

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!!! Do not go. I ignored the bad reviews. He never looked at me the entire time-not personable AT ALL!!! He wanted me to pay $200 1st visit, come1 week later at$100 and come the next week after that at $100. I said forget this.I have been to doctors before so I know how it goes. I found a high rated doctor and am happy now. He has me come 1 time every 3 months. I ignored all the reviews I read before I went. My last visit I cried on the way home and said Im never going back to him! I had because he was rolling his eyes at me, looking at his paper work, and never looked at me, and treated me like I was 5. I was so upset. I cant believe this man deals with patients that have mental issues!!!! Staff IS HORRIBLE!!!!! Nasty and will make it impossible to use your insur. I read that and thought that was just silly until I had the same trouble. Save your money and go to a high rated doctor like I did. Dont waste your time with this Doctor. Please!

My visit was unexpectedly good.

I went to Dr. Taylor with a problem that has been misdiagnosed and he was able to help me by giving me the right medication. I was surprised because I traveled alot and have been to many psychiatrists. He is the first that got it right on my problem and I am doing much better. He is strict but that is the way it is with psychiatrists because of who they deal with. You have to own your treatment and value it or you won't get better. He is right about that.

Don't go to Dr. Taylor

Dr. Taylor is a money hungry pig! He does not care about his patients only money!!! He is a glorified drug dealer. He has no compassion or consideration for extenuating circimstances. I was driving in the pouring rain for over an hour to get to my appointment and because I was late he refused to see me. I tried to call but they had not turned the phones over from the night answering service. Good thing it was not important!!
