I absolutely love this school! I am a huge daycare snob, and PSR is one of the best. The staff is caring and loving to my girls. My girls have grown so much socially, academically, and behaviorally! I know that my girls are being watched and loved while at PSR!

I rarely write reviews. But, I read some of the negative reviews posted by angry parents (or, in some cases, "non-parents"), and I felt it was necessary to weigh in. This is a nice daycare. I drop my daughter off and pick her up almost every day. The kids go outside a lot. They also watch shows and play inside. You get a report every day about your child. The staff and teachers are nice. I have four children, and they have been in three different daycares over the years. This place is normal and safe. I've never had any concerns.

This facility cannot be trusted. We were provided a start date for our son by the owner herself, Lynea, while in her office. She told us this start date may vary if the new teacher they hired did not work out, but if that were to occur we would be contacted. It is two weeks before the start date and I had not heard anything from them. I called today to confirm everything was still in place to I was told that the teacher has been a great success. I then received a return call from Alex informing me that my son could no longer start on the agreed upon date due to the fact the "spot was filled". Alex then went on to blubber through responses to my questions saying they would "try" to move kids around to accommodate us but "no promises". So, you would relocate children to another level class they may not be ready for to "try" to accommodate us? If you cannot be trusted with this what else can you not be trusted with?

It appears the only thing they are good at is misleading parents.

We moved to the tampa area a year ago. We found Post Sunshine and fell in love with the place instantly. I am not sure how or why the people below had such terrible experiences but I have had nothing but a good well rounded experience. The teachers take real good care of my daughter and are always pleasant. I feel like my child is in real good hands while I am away.

Terrible day care. First, t...

Terrible day care.

First, they tout being a different type of daycare. They will show you great outdoor facilities. However, the younger kids rarely go outside. Whenever I would pick up my 3 year old, they were watching TV - at various times of the day. The smaller kids are kept in a small room for most of the day.

Next, they say they are not on the fodd program because they do not want to deal with the paperwork. They then will tell you how fresh the food is they serve. They write on a paper everyday what your kid was given to eat. At least once a day they had cookies and vanilla wafers and cheese its were a regular snack - not very healthy - not the fruit and healthy stuff that was promised. The food program actually saves these daycares money and ensures that the kids are eating healthy items.

On a day that there was no school, I packed my 9 year old a lunch to take with her. She was made to eat seperate and was singled from the other kids because of it. I was told that they didn't want to hear the kids complain - who is the adult here? Then later, I was told that they were worried about allergies.... which is not a valid point, since they occasionaly have the kids pack a lunch - where is the allergy concerns then?

The owner / manager of the center also continues to "make up" new rules. There seems to always be a different policy when it benefits the center.

On a Monday or Tuesday, they gave me a paper stating that I have overpaid by over a hundred dollars, then a couple of days later, I am told that I am in the hole. The owner did not want to hear any of this.

My 3 year old is not biologically mine, although I am the only father figure she has known (she does not know her father). She calls me dad a lot of the time. The owner thought that it was her place to tell her that I am not her dad. She then tried to tell my 3 year old that she has a "real" dad and a stepdad. This circumstance was the last draw with this daycare. The owner when confronted, tried to justify what she said and felt she was right.

Never bring your kids here!
