Great company to rent through. My unit changed ownership with one month left in my lease and they advocated on my behalf for charges from the new company. The office may have limited hours, but customer service is outstanding. Every time I paid rent, they would ask about any maintenance concerns, which were handled quickly. Outstanding staff and service. I would definitely recommend starting with S Smith for rental needs in BG!

If I could give a zero, I would. My time renting through this company ending with me being verbally assaulted over the phone and hung up on. I tried to turn in my keys and parking pass for the new tenant, as requested by the office manager, and I continued to be cussed out in the office. I was told that my money would be held until the new tenant's checks cleared in three weeks. When I asked how that was legal, as my name was no where on the new lease, the screaming had begun. The owner claimed to be able to make my life a "living h-ll" by witholding as much of my money as possible, including my security deposit and January's rent. This was AFTER they had another tenant sign a lease, pay THEIR rent for January and receive keys to the apartment. The owner not only dropped the f bomb towards me multiple times, but he also called me a ungrateful b----.



I would not recommend this company. Their immature and unprofessional tactics should not be tolerated.
