Sprinkler Systems Northwest

(Read the whole review if you want to know the outcome of dealing with them.) Adam was really a nice guy, especially when we called the first time to get our sprinkler system figured out. He came out the same day we called, assessed our situation and told us what needed to be done. He didn't charge us until the work was done. He came back a few weeks later and did the work. That day he discovered we would need a new valve box and the valves replaced in one of our boxes. Which was not a huge suprise, since the sprinklers hadn't been used in years. He sent a guy over to dig the box out, he left and said he would be back. THREE weeks later they came back to complete the job. I didn't worry that much, because I hadn't paid for the job yet, and they left all their tools. This was all done in April-May. It was a wet Spring/Early Summer, so we didn't use the sprinklers. Towards the end of June, I was outside and noticed the new valve box was full of water and overflowing. We had to turn off the water line and proceeded to call Adam. He called back and told us to turn the water line off and he would come and fix it. Well after another week of not hearing from him and wanting to use our sprinklers finally, I called. His mailbox was full, so I text him. He said he would come "Friday". That was SIX Fridays ago. Our lawn is now dead, we spent over $1000 getting our sprinklers going and we haven't used them once. We called him two more times this week and left messages and still no word. There is absolutely no incentive for him to come, because it is the new box, that supposedly is under warranty. What is the point of covering your work, if you never intend to come back and fix anything. We are easy going people to work with. All we want is to use our sprinklers. We will now have to call another company to come and see what the problem is, and have them fix it. I am sure they will be right out, because we will be paying them... Tired of waiting.
