Kristi's Grooming LLC

I took my dogs in this last Saturday for grooming. A new place looks nice and clean, it's open so you can see the dogs being groomed. I got a call that the dogs were done but one of my dogs Bella had a serious incident/accident and that they had called my vet. The vet wanted to see Bella as soon as possible. Vet confirmed the seriousness of her injury. The people working that day did the right thing in calling my vet, they were apologetic and sympathetic. I brought the $215.00 bill and the diagnosis back to them and said I wanted it paid and I wanted the owner to call me. They told me the owner would be calling me that night. I left the facility and waited for the owner to call, keeping my phone with me all night (no call) the next day, I left messages on 2 different numbers (no call) Monday morning I left an email (no email) 48 hours went by and no contact from the owner. Not a way I would run a business!! A dear friend decided to try her on FB messenger and she contacted her right away. My friend told her to contact me right away. she finally called me Monday afternoon, not sure how long it would have been if not for my friend getting a hold of her. Needless to say I was extremely hurt and angry by this time. Words were exchanged, some yelling on my part. She had contacted my vet and paid the bill, which I am thankful for. The fact that she couldn't find the time to call or email me in a 48 hour period after her employees informed her of the serious situation will never sit well with me. As for my sweet Bella, her as well as I will be emotionally scared by this. not sure how I will ever get her to be groomed again. I understand accidents happen. I know her employees felt awful, I know they are good people at heart. I am not a person to leave negative feedback, usually I just wont leave anything. Because it was my sweet fur baby, I felt I needed to say something.
