Tree Removal and Planting

Tree Removal
In 2016 Jerad and Grayden took up just such a test. They removed a decaying cherry tree using no power tools of any kind. It was a first-hand lesson in what tree removal was like before chainsaws, bucket trucks and cranes.
Stump Grinding and Removal
We often grind stumps after we have removed a tree, but we can also remove any old existing stumps on your property. Stump grinding removes the risk of tripping hazards and possible mower accidents while improving the aesthetics of your property. We can haul away the mulch from the stump grinding process or you can spread the mulch around the trees and plants on your property.
Tree Planting
From Indiana, Jerad has had the opportunity to work in Montana, Idaho, California and Alaska doing fire, forestry management, and tree planting after logging/fire operations. Working for a progressive company removing beetle kill trees with helicopters in the remote forest was some of the most fun.

Arborist Services
The town of Ellettsville asked us to remove this huge ash tree that succumbed to the emerald ash borer. Dead limbs had been dropping branches onto the parking lot underneath. With our team of arborists onsite, planning for another safe removal, taking in the sight of this massive 150 year old tree, a sense of awe and silent respect hung in the air. This tree had a 6 foot diameter at breast height (dbh). It branched out with multiple co-dominant stems into a grand and expansive canopy. Standing at the base, one can’t help but to be humbled in this tree’s presence. So with quiet resolve we got to work.
