Bloomingdale's

I have had cancer for more than 10 years and I have needed wigs for as long as I can remember. I always go to "Bloomingdale's House of Hair" in Bloomingdale, Illinois. They are the Wig Experts! They have a wide selection of wigs available in their salon and they are the wig matchmakers of Illinois! The atmosphere is extremely enjoyable and very professional. I will never go to another wig salon as long as I can go to Bloomingdale's House of Hair.

I am recovering from ovarian cancer. Chemotherapy caused a complete hair loss. I needed a wig, and was told this salon had a nice selection. I had something very specific in mind, and the owner did her best to accomodate me. She, twice, ordered in different wigs for me to try on. We eventually got the right color and style for me. However, I was charged $250.00 for a wig that sold online for $90.00. She told me it was a Rene' of Paris. It actually was Wigs by Pierre. My personal hairdresser had to thin it out a bit, and noticed the cap was too small for my head, even after letting out the little elastics all the way. Bottom line-----I trusted this "professional" to provide me with a wig that was a certain quality and a good fit. "I got neither"!
