Nutritional Counseling
Ear Infections
Your veterinarian will examine your pet from nose-to-tail, looking for things like heart murmurs, ear infections, and/or parasites. Your vet can also provide pet-proofing tips, training assistance, and parasite protection recommendations.
Emergency Care
If your pet requires a service that we cannot provide, we’ll refer you to an appropriate 24-hour urgent care center. Call our office now for help.
Electrocardiogram
An EKG is a painless test used to diagnose cardiac abnormalities, such as an enlarged heart, heart murmur, congestive heart failure, or irregular heart rhythm. EKGs can also help determine if your pet’s heart is strong enough to undergo anesthesia and is often used as a pre-surgical test.
Immunizations
Valleydale Animal Clinic recommends yearly visits for most pets and older pets coming in more frequently – at least every 6 months. Yearly exams include physical examinations by our veterinarians plus annual vaccinations or booster vaccinations, parasite screening & prevention and various lab tests performed.

Ophthalmologists

Glaucoma
This non-invasive diagnostic test measures the intraocular pressure inside your pet’s eye and is used to test for glaucoma and uveitis. Increased pressure in your pet’s eye can be dangerous and tonometry is an easy way to check the pressure without having to sedate your pet.

Using sound waves, ultrasound technology allows us to generate images of your pet’s internal body structures, such as muscles, tendons, joints, internal organs, and blood vessels. Veterinary ultrasound images are often ordered alongside x-rays, to get a more complete picture of your pet’s health.
Radiology
Our veterinary radiologists are able to produce high-quality diagnostic images of your pet’s tissues, organs, and bones. X-rays help us look for arthritis, broken bones, foreign objects, dental issues, enlarged organs, or respiratory dysfunction.

Itching, scratching, and hot spots are all signs of allergies and skin conditions in pets. Just like humans, pets can be sensitive to irritants that cause them distress. Our team will diagnose and offer treatment for pets with skin-related problems including parasites, allergies, rashes, infections, hair loss, and more.
