I've been using the services of Bethesda Custom Framing for almost twenty years. If you come in with a clear idea of what you want, they will work with you to produce a spectacular result. If you have no idea of what you want or what will best serve your art, the owner has an excellent sense of what will work best.
In all this time, I only experienced one mistake -- when the wrong frame (not the one selected) was accidentally installed. The problem was corrected immediately. The shop is both responsible and responsive.
From what I can tell, Bethesda Custom Framing is somewhat more expensive than whatever is available at your local mall. But it's worth it. If you care about what you're putting on your walls, you'll find Bethesda Custom Framing cares as much as you do.
this is the place you want to go to. the owner is a wonderful person. he helps you out as much or as little as you want. the phrase "THERE IS MORE TO THIS THEN MEETS THE EYE" comes to mind. i say this because you go in this place and you do not think that this place could turn out such wonderful work, but they do. this place does not boast about how clean the place may look, after all it is a framing shop. they do all the work in house and everything that you will ever need is there.
i have been doing going to this shop for many years and they have never let down. i have a friend that had a nice poster that looked nice on its own, but after the frame was placed on it, it looked like it belonged in a museum.
