Very Poor Service, I have been working in Admin/Clerical for over five years. I was told, by them, that I have excellent experience/work history but they could not place me because I had not worked in this state. All my experience was from California and not here so somehow that mattered. I really don't understand why that is important. I have the degree and the experience but because the experience isn't in the right state I can't get the job?

I worked with Jamie B. at their office and it was the best experience. The whole office team is wonderful from the receptionist Robin all the way up. Everyone was so nice and I landed the perfect interview out of the gate and I've been at my company for over a year now -- and I was new to the area from out of state!

I have over 14 years experience as a secretary and they wouldn't even talk to me. They sent me an email telling me that I wasn't what they were looking for. What is really odd is that the first time I emailed the Seattle branch, they were interested. When I applied for a Renton job as well as Seattle, that is when I suddenly got the run around and they would no longer talk to me. Why would a professional business turn down someone with so much experience if they are supposed to have such great jobs? One of the offices did finally call, but when I mentioned that the job I had for the last 3.5 years wasn't totally secretarial due to it being in Corrections, she suddenly made an excuse to hang up and sent me an email rejection letter. BAD FORM! Why couldn't they interview me first to find out if I was the "Type" of person they needed? Why not call me and tell me they were no longer interested? Sounds to me that they aren't as good as they claim.

I have been signed up with Business Careers for over a year, and have worked with 4 different recruiters there. They will only put ?Puget Sound? as the location for a job opportunity, forcing the wasteful step of contacting them to find out if it is in my commute range of 40 miles or not. This request by e-mail and voice mail is often ignored. Of the few openings determined to be in the South Sound, I have been told that the salary posted is incorrect or the listing has expired. Then I watch these listings go unchanged for weeks. They have not contacted me once with a potential match they have found, and I have yet to have a single interview connected with them. What a waste. I would not recommend them for job seekers or employers.

My rep was so nice and she took the time to sit, listen and make sure she knew what I was looking for. Best experience yet!

After looking at many ads in the newspaper and online I finally decided to call 2 of the business careers offices. I net with them both to find out that the ads I responded to were no longer available. The representative said that they often let the filled positions stay advertised to get new people to interview. When I asked why I was not told this when I called and prior to coming into the office and paying $14.00 for parking she said-We have to meet with everyone who calls us. From there, I was given a marginal interview and they referred me to a company that was nothing like what I was looking for. When I met with the company, they also let me know that they were not happy with their service from the agency. I have not called them back, nor will I ever!

First, the ad I responded to was false, and I was told that by the "counselor" I met with. She said, we run this to get you in here. Then, wait, wait for her to call as she promised. I called back a week later and was told she had quit. I was never contacted to be assigned another "counselor". Stay away!
