Albert Steven Fleisher, MD, is chief of Gastroenterology and director of interventional endoscopy at the Center for Digestive Disease at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. He specializes in diseases of the pancreas and biliary systems, and the diagnosis and staging of digestive cancers including colon, rectum, pancreas, stomach, liver, and esophagus. He has extensive experience treating a wide range of disorders using traditional as well as advanced interventions such as ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, balloon enteroscopy, video capsule enteroscopy, mucosectomy, radiofrequency ablation of Barrett's esophagus, and esophageal and biliary stent placement. Dr. Fleisher is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
