Provided by SuperpagesGreat experience! I started seeing Kevin Luo for nerve pain resulting from by spinal spondylosis caused by a fall. I had tried chiropractic and that made the condition worse. Kevins treatment was very successful and not like the violent jerks and pulls from at the chiropractor. The needles never bothered me once and Kevin himself was very soothing. But I hadnt been back to him in a couple of years, because I was pretty much pain free. Then my Cedar Fever got progressively worse year after year. When I first moved to Austin I was not bothered by Cedar Fever. But after 3 or 4 years I became affected. I tried Singular, Benadryl, saline sinus washes, honey, not going outside, and finally leaving Austin for the frozen northlands. The only thing that worked was leaving town. I finally decided it was crazy not to enjoy the great weather during Austins Cedar Fever months. I tried acupuncture with Kevin for allergies. After about 4 sessions I felt CURED. This is how it works: You come in and visit with Kevin for a short while during which time he asks you how youve been doing, he takes your pulse and checks out your tongue. Then you go to a darkened room and lie down on the exam table and he slips in the acupuncture needles, puts a heat pack on your neck and turns on the heat lamp. Then I fall sound asleep for a little while. He comes back removes the needles and PRESTO! I feel MUCH better. I dont believe in magic, but this seems magical. I also took some Chinese herbs, mostly cinnamon, which helped as well. Its all very calm and restful. He cured every symptom of my Cedar Fever except a small amount of irritation in my eyes. But I feel so much better that I can garden in the winter months. He also showed me how to use a heating pad and self massage, if I started to feel stuffy or sneezy. I liked the Chinese herbs so much that I have continued to use cinnamon and ginger regularly and feel that they are aiding my metabolism in addition to warding off allergies. One of the best things about Kevin is that his objective is to get you to the point where you dont need to come back to see him. Hes trying to cure you in the least number of visits. And he is funny. But hes also very attentive, patient, and generous. Hes great. I recommend him to everyone, and I have friends that have visited him with the same experience.
