Overall
Don't go

Thess people are ludicrous and kinda sketchy. Definitely not going again. Don't think my dog ever got play time. They act all nice to your face but they have their heads concentrated on the wrong thing. The focus should be on the dog not on appearances to the human with the cash.

I am sadden to see how much Taurus Metric has changed over the years, their quality of care and attention to pups has decreased, while their appetite for money has increased. I was not surprised to see how many others agreed in their reviews, especially regarding the metric location. From their high staff turn-over to their ever increasing fees this once "mom & pop shop" has become just another money driven corporation it is obvious that their priorities have shifted.

I agree with Amber post from 9/12/11 on Yelp & Google, Kelly WAS awesome - it's a shame they let her go, she was the best Manager Taurus Metric ever had. Just another example of the changes happening there. Customer Service is no longer a priority, and if they treat their clients the way they treat their employees, it makes you wonder how the pups are cared for....

My pups deserve better. The one star is for the fond memories of what Taurus ONCE was

This is the best place I have taken our dog. McNeill location, and the manager is always there, and her dog plays with ours. They know her by name and you do have to crate a dog at a kennel at night, and they provide fluffy bedding, but they at least they let your dog roam, and let them have play time. My dog was so crated at the vet , and let me make sure that this was not at Taurus, that she peed on her towel at the vet - Don't ever do that boarding. Just pay the money and your dog will be happy - Allie comes home tired and ready for a nap...

Broken Leg and Spirit

I would strongly recommend against boarding your smaller dogs with Taurus. This is for the rr620 location.

I had a horrible experience boarding my min pin with them. He is my baby and is very small. I had a death in the family that required me to leave on a very short notice and travel overseas so I decided to let him board with Taurus.

While in their care my little dog broke his leg, it snapped in two. I was told that his leg caught in one of the linoleum metal strips on the stairs that hold it down and broke. The dog was supposed to be carried down the stairs, but instead they let him run down the stairs and hurt himself. The little bone on the leg is broken in 3 place, the bigger one snapped in half. I am crying as I am writing this, I still cant believe that they did that to him.

The dog is not the same. He is always afraid, his leg is now crooked, and who knows if/how he will heal. I am heartbroken looking at my little boy suffer every day because of the pure negligence of the people at Taurus.

PLEASE, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR PETS, CONSIDER BOARDING THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE.
