Came into the dealership looking to trade my truck in for a Challenger. Darion helped me figure out which one I wanted that was within my price range. He let me test drive a couple different cars and get a feel for what I like. He did not pressure me and was very professional and honest.

Swindled

Bought a Soul here yesterday; returned as they said the price quoted Thursday was still good. Spent 5 hours here in paperwork & waiting. Didn't get the price quoted. Got a car with over 250 miles already on it!! And the smooth talking finance guy trapped us into another year of payments of $30!.over the original price. We came back the next morning & all we got for waiting hours; you signed a contract. Pay up. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS

Bait and Switched

1 star for a great car. -2 for Arik who admitted he basically ripped us off by giving us a different car than we agreed on then trying to "make up for it" with free oil changes, -2 for the manager who also agreed Arik deceived us but completely lied to us pretending to be on our side. I love my Kia, but I will never buy from them again, and I have and will continue to tell ppl about the shadyness there. Good thing people trust me...why? Because I don't lie and deceive people. Take note south point KIA and Arik! You've lost a long time customer and more for the people I've steered away.

Be aware of the guarentees from these people!!!!! They will waste your time telling you that the deal on the table will work and after a week of bs and driving 250 miles and 2 days off work to be told the deal is no good. Thanks for costing me 2 days pay

Do Not Trust South Point Dodge...

Do Not Trust South Point Dodge in Austin. Dealer tired to charge me $2K more than the price we had agreed on in writing. Good thing I caught it before signing the loan contract. They first said it was a miss communication between the sales guy and the manager, then they try to blame me for trying to change the deal on them even though it was IN WRITING on the negotiation paper with my initials on it. Then the GM, Ben Shahvandi said "you are wasting our time." That is when I got up and left. They will blame the customer even when they are at fault. I went as far as meeting them half way on the price difference ($1k more on my part) but all they offer me was a few free oil changes. Wow are you kidding me. Service was very quick and pushy until they get your deposit then it was slow and I don't really care attitude. Also the GM looked and acted very unprofessional, never even introduced himself.

I bought my car from here in Feb of 08. I felt very presured. I bought it at 8pm and went back the very next day to return it at 4pm they refuesed to let me out of. I had to it take back to the shop for the tires. It was shaking like crazy. They had it for a week and put on over a 100 miles on it. Then I had to have it taken back in because the tinting was bubbling. That took them 2 days. I just recently learned that with the custom rims they put on it made it so my low pressure indictor wont work which I was not told was disabled. I asked for my orginal tires and rims becasue I paid for them plus the custom ones. They are refusing to get me tires and rims. I would not ever do buissness with this dealership!!! I hate my car only because it reminds me of who I bought it from. Go to any other dealership even if you have to drive a couple of hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got financed but...was it worth it???

I went to this dealership because of their easy financing, but be warned - don't trust anything the staff tells you.



***ISSUE #1: Blowing off unsatisfied customers**** I went in with $1000 for a down payment. I was told that I would need $1500 down. So, I said I would have to come back the following week - after I got paid. Mike, my salesman and the manager's son, told me to post date a check and he would personally hold the check until the following Friday. Needless to say, that check wasn't held. When I questioned Mike, he told me that I signed paperwork saying the check would be submitted 4 days earlier than we verbally agreed. I asked for copies of the original paperwork, and never received anything. After 2 weeks of harassing them (all levels of management) with phone calls, I eventually received a call from Mike. He said he sent the paperwork, and offered to send a fax. I told him that I wanted copies of the original paperwork because I knew that I never signed any document that referred to holding funds, and I asked him how my signature got on that paperwork if it truly existed. That day, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and informed the General Manager (who was not a relative of Mike's) of my actions. With that, they did refund me for the NSF fees assessed to my bank account.

***ISSUE #2: Possible Lemon Laundering***** The first car we looked at was a white Kia Spectra. It didn't have tinted windows, but it did have a rear spoiler. We test drove the car, and all seemed well. I went inside to start filling out paperwork, while my partner went with Mike to pull the car up for "Make-ready". Five minutes later, my partner walked in with a concerned look on her face and said, "There's something wrong with that car. Mike got in it, and it wouldn't start. He said there's something wrong with it so he's not gonna put us in that one." So, the second car, was also a white Kia Spectra. This one had tinted windows, but it didn't have the spoiler. I bought that Spectra at a good price, but the car has been in the shop twice (internal transmission failure) with less than 18K mile on the car. I am on the verge of filing a lemon law claim, and looking into the possibility of this dealership engaging in what is called "lemon laundering".

***ISSUE #3: False Promises***** I was referred to this dealership. With that, two promises were made. 1) The person referring me would receive a $100 referral bonus. Don't hold your breath because that never happened. 2) I was told that if I gave them all 10's on the J.D. Power and Associate's survey, I would get a free oil change. Again, I asked Mike about my free oil change, and he didn't bother to even acknowledge the question.
