FRESH NEW PARADIGM JET ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS

Enforcement Action 1:
Investigation: The complainant alleged that on December 31, 2015, Paradigm Jet Management flew N17ND from St. Lucia, Caribbean to Austin, Texas contrary to the limitations of a special flight permit (SFP). The SFP was issued because the number 1 engine low-pressure fan blade dry lubricant refurbishment, a time limitation requirement, was overdue. The report alleges that the aircraft was not physically inspected by a certificated mechanic, or repair station, to determine that it was safe for the intended flight, and that the log-book was falsified when the mechanic made an entry stating that the aircraft was safe for the intended flight without physically inspecting the aircraft. The allegation continues to state that the aircraft was operated above flight level 180 in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) airspace and that the same flight was operated at night.

Corrective Action: An enforcement action was initiated against Paradigm Jet Management. (PTRS Record ID #8065201900915, EIR Number 2019S0650002). The mechanic who issued the SFP and made the record entry stating that the aircraft had been inspected and determined to be in a condition for safe flight (PTRS Record ID $065201900920, EIR Number 201980650003).

Enforcement Action 2:
Paradigm Jet Management (9PMA), a 14CFR Part 135 certificate holder with authorization to conduct on-demand passenger and cargo operations, failed to properly maintain N17ND, a Gulfstream G-V, by not performing required maintenance tasks within the allowable time intervals. The complainant also alleged that previous Hotline investigations failed to identify that Paradigm Jet Management had failed to properly maintain N17ND and operated the aircraft in violation of required airworthiness standards. (Safety Hotline S20170000056 and $201710906008) Investigation: The complainant alleged that 9PMA allowed the operation of NI7ND some 87.2 flight hours beyond the maintenance interval required to replenish the number | engine low-pressure fan blade dry lubricant. The complaint also stated that an additional requirement to refurbish the low-pressure fan blade root copper nickel indium coating was not accomplished within the required maintenance interval on the number | engine. (The number | engine referenced in the complaint is a Rolls-Royce model BR700-710A 1-10 with serial number 111390.)

Finding: A violation of a regulation, order or standard of the FAA related to air carrier safety is partially substantiated. Corrective Action: An enforcement action has been initiated against Paradigm Jet Management. (PTRS Record ID Number S065201900915, EIR Number 2019S0650002).

Awesome Job!!

My husband and I charter jets on a regular basis but we always had to get one from somewhere else so when we learned that this company has two jets based here in Austin, we definatley had to charter one of their planes. Their airplanes are brand new and very comfortable to fly in. The crew was very professional and caring and made sure our car was waiting next to the plane with the AC running!! I would definately recommend this company to any one interested in private jet charter!!
