Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
This condition is similar to carpal tunnel syndrome and often misdiagnosed as such. However, cubital tunnel syndrome affects the ulnar nerve around the area of the elbow. This medical problem can cause significant pain and make using the hand and arm very challenging. By surgically removing the pressure from the nerve at the elbow, we can help the patients experience relief from pain and regain use of their arm and hand.

Ultrasound
After the sterile solution has been infused into the treatment area, Dr. Sharma will make tiny incisions to insert a cannula into the fat deposits. This specialized tube will be moved back and forth to dislodge unwanted fat cells. Other techniques will use mechanical vibrations or ultrasound energy to aid in this process. Once the cells have been loosened, they are suctioned away using a vacuum device attached to the cannula. The incisions will then be closed with either sutures or surgical tape, depending on their size and location.

Breast Reduction

He graduated in 1992, and entered Medical School at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX that same year. It was here that Dr. Sharmaâ€™s interest in hand surgery and plastic surgery led him to pursue those avenues as a career. He has enjoyed the benefit and luxury of training at preeminent institutions with some of this countryâ€™s most renowned surgeons. The Texas Medical Center served as the backdrop for his combined General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training at Baylor College of Medicine; the broad scope of training included extensive experience in aesthetic surgery, breast augmentation and reconstruction, congenital and pediatric plastic surgery, trauma reconstruction, and hand and microsurgery. I had a cut tendon that was not initially diagnosed (elsewhere). I was in surgery less than 24 hrs after seeing Dr. Sharma. The coordination with Dell Setton UT, covid precautions, and Dr. Sharmaâ€™s team was fast and smooth. The surgery went great and I am on the way to being able to use my thumb again! The follow up with Occupational Therapy is excellent. So many people helping me along is a humbling experience. I had a cut tendon that was not initially diagnosed (elsewhere).
