        Our Embassy Suites Austin Downtown South Congress bridges the contagious energy of downtown to the quiet comfort south of the river. We specialize in Small Meetings and Events with customized service in our 2,330 sq. ft., accommodating 10-60 exclusive guests.         These people are awful. I had a confirmed reservation and called to say I would be arriving late. They said OK. When I arrived I learned I had been cancelled at 9:00 pm. They said the "fine print" said this was OK even though I had called for late check in approval! They were rude, disinterested and could not care less that I am 78, was alone in a new city and had called for late check in. PS the main lobby was cluttered and looked like it needed a sweep big time. Never got a chance to look at a room.
