Overall

Worst customer service I have every had. It's like talking to a wall. They are over seas people that can't understand any thing. Dell bring it back home. If there was a lower rating I would give it to you.

Just bought a Dell desktop com...

Just bought a Dell desktop computer. When I took it out of the box, it was dented in three different places. After jumping through hoops to get someone on the phone, in INDIA! no less, the agent set up a replacement order. It just arrived. Took it out of the box and it is dented in the same three places as the first one! It says on the box, "assembled in Mexico." Obviously there is NO quality control at Dell's Mexico assembly plant. Those dents could easily be seen by anyone who looks at the outside housing of the computer. Now, I have two computers to return instead of one. Still do not have a return authorization number or label for the first one. Dell's customer service is THE WORST. Plus, you can't get a single American on the phone to help you. Even though Lenovo computers are made in China, their customer service is light years better and you actually get to speak to someone in the UNITED STATES! Will never buy a Dell ANYTHING any more.

Never purchase anything with the name DELL on it. I suppose Mr. Dell has forgotten where he is from and who the people are who has made him rich. He no longer cares for his fellow American, just their money, if the company should happen to go under rest assured he will not go out broke, just his employees will. So what does he care if his customers get no service, no refunds, no satisfaction, he has his, he got it from US, the Americans who bought his inferior product and are forced to try to speak to people in India who cannot speak English and could not care less. I will never purchase anything again with the name Dell on it. I am fed up. I GAVE THIS A ONE STAR RATING BECAUSE I COULD NOT LEAVE A ZERO

THE MOST AGGRAVATING CUSTOMER SERVICE "EVER"!! DON'T EXPECT TO SPEAK WITH ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY SPEAKS ENGLISH... AND I'M NOT EXAGGERATING! ......... AMERICAN'S...... DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SO-CALLED "AMERICAN COMPANY" WHO TAKES YOUR MONEY THEN LEAVES YOU TO TRY AND DECIPHER THE INDIAN LANGUAGE THAT THEY HAVE OUTSOURCED AMERICAN JOBS TO!! I SIMPLY CALLED TO EXCHANGE AN AC POWER ADAPTER THAT WAS POORLY DESIGNED TO BEGIN WITH, ONLY TO BE PASSED OFF TO 7 DIFFERENT PEOPLE BEFORE I COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND ANYTHING THE LAST PERSON WAS SAYING FOR THE PAST HOUR!! WHAT A CRYING SHAME.... HERE'S WHERE YOUR JOBS ARE FOLKS..... I WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL! AMERICANS... Dell is a LEMON

Brought two laptops inspiron 1721...one works fine the other doesn't

spent hours on the phone with "bob" from India...HORRIBLE experience...they have no supervisor, no one to complain to...oh well I complained to everyone in India that works for Dell...STUPID company for outsourceing all of their businee, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND to anyone to buy a dell...I'd rather use a pencil...

WARNING!!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE A DELL OF ANY KIND. COMPLETELY OUTSOURCED. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TECH SUPPORT ARE LOUSY. I HAVE A M1530 XPS WITH VISTA. I HAVE HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPUTER FROM DAY ONE. I HAVE A 2YR WARRANTY AND I CAN'T GET SUPPORT OF ANY KIND. TAKE THE REVIEWS SERIOUSLY AND PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I WILL PURCHASE A HP BEFORE BUYING FROM DELL. I AM GOING TO INVEST IN AN APPLE. SUPPORT AMERICANS AND NOT THESE COMPANIES THAT OUTSOURCE TO COUNTRIES THAT TREAT AMERICANS LIKE WE ARE NOTHING.

Dell Runaround

I bought a Dell XPS M1530 in December 2008 and got a lemon. I and my wife have been on the phone for hours with customer support. During this time we allowed dell to asume remote control of the computer to repair the issues,but to no avail. They were more concerned with selling us more extended warranty. I was also on the phone with Microsoft numerious times concerning Windows updates. The last time I was on the phone for three days and invited them into the computer to fix it, but they finally gave up.

I finally sent this computer back to Dell for repair. They kept it for a week and their technicians went through it and said it needed a new hard drive, but they did not have one. So they sent it back without being repaired.I was told by correspondence that they would send me a new hard drive,because they did not have one in stock ,in the next 3 business days. As of yet I have not gotten it.

I am not a computer repair person, If I was I would have determined the problem sooner.

They expect me to uninstall the defected harddrive and install the new one. Then reinstall the operating system and all the drivers. I am concerned if it is not done properly and something goes wrong Dell will not honor the warranty.

This computer is too expensive for an amature to fool around with.

Every time I call to complain or ask for help I get someone in India or some other foreign country that does not speak very good English. We always have a communication problem. I ask for an English speaking person but I just get transferred to another person that is not any better. PLEASE HELP, and I DO NOT Recommend Dell Products. This is my 3rd and last Dell.

I purchased 2 Vista 540 Dell computers in January 2009. One computer is working fine. My computer has never consistently connected to the internet. After having my internet server come to my home numerous times it was shown that the server and modem was working fine. my modem works on other computers when connected. i have contacted Dell tech support and consumer help with no improvement to my service. India was very nice to me, but I need a new computer that works. I am tired of the run around. my next step is to call the better business bureau to get the help I need.When requesting an address in the US or place to service my computer,I receive no satisfaction. All I get is constant transfering to the same departments. please help me get the computer I need.

India, India India, doesn't anyone in the US do this job.
