Barton Creek Infant Center

I have had both my kids at Barton Creek since I returned to work after my maternity leaves. The staff are wonderful, truly care and love the kids, and I frequently tell new moms that I would not have been confident in my decision to return to work if I did not respect the wonderful people who care for and teach my kids. I'm pretty sure I will cry when my oldest "graduates" in a year. They have become like family.

I would like to start out by saying how pleased I am with the level of quality care and education my children receive at Barton Creek Child Development center. An environment in which children succeed relies on individualizing the needs of each child. Likewise, a balanced and complimentarey team, utilizing the skill set of their staff, provides a loving and successful educational experience for children. You will find both at this wonderful and unique school, located in beautiful southwest Austin.

My son has attended the infant center since he was 8 weeks old and my daughter is at the preschool. They both love coming to school and I feel confident in their care and pleased with the level and content of their academic curriculum. I would recommend this school to anyone who would like to offer their child a warm, loving, dynamic environment- outside of the "big Box". The level of personalized service is excellent!

After visiting approximately 25 centers, my husband and I consider ourselves extremely lucky that we found Barton Creek CDC for our twins! This was the only facility where we knew our kids would be safe, cared for, loved, and where they would grow and learn. My children just entered kindergarten and I have already received praises for how much they know and how much they learned at Barton Creek.



All of the staff there are kind and TRULY care about the welfare of the children. They tended to each individual child's need. My kids LOVED going to dance, karate, and sportball. They also loved the gardening they did. As a mother, I never worried about the safety or welfare of my twins while they attended BCCDC.



I cannot say enough to the staff to thank them for all they did for our twins! Great job!

Everyday my child wakes up she gets excited about something that is going on at daycare. Dance Class Day, Sports Ball Day, Swim Lesson Day, Pizza Day. The activities that facilitate are great. I have a child in the infant center and one in the pre-school center. All teachers/diretors are engaging and show geniune care for my children. Even my doctor has commented on how far along my children are in relation to language skills, motor skills and social skills. BCCDC has been a big part of that development. We wouldn't have our kids any place but there.

Barton Creek Child Development offers excellent educational programs as well as physical acticities to keep children active and aid in developing coordination and the aspect of group activity participation. My child has learned sign language and is able to sing his ABC's at 2 years of age. The teachers and director are very qaulified and hands on with all parents and all children. It is a wonderful place with a unique differentiation from "chain" child care centers. The learning areas are very spacious and each age is appropriately segregated for learning and safety aspects for all ages. My child has attended since 3 months of age and is now 2 years of age. Elizabeth and Katie are amazing and welcome anyone at all times to visit and observe thier learning centers for infants and pre schoolers. We LOVE Barton Creek Child Development Center!!

Staff is very friendly and qualified. Children are happy and engaged. Low turnover rates. Good curriculum and enrichment activities. Prices are reasonable.
