Balcones Bingo

Wow what a let down first of all we thought they were closed down when we got there. It was a Friday night and there were maybe 100 people there. I thought that would be a good thing until we went to sit down and saw a guy and his wife in front of us with about 8 computers in front of them. They obviously don't put limits on anything which seems pretty shady. Oh and guess what they won. All the help seemed like they knew them and kept coming over and chatting with them. There seemed to be more workers than players and they kept pushing these pull tabs and extra game cards like their life depended on it. I think they have people in the crowd that they have winning their games and giving the money back to the house. There's no way they could stay in business otherwise. My advise Big Star Bingo right down the road cheaper friendlier and seems s lot more legit

i just want to say please check your computer numbers, i got screw big! i was the only winner for 7 11 game price was $700, however they pay me only $332.50 According to Owner say i won it from computer that i pay $5, when i got to pay $35 for two session computer plus the extra one for $5, they say computer has the serial number when i check serial number with owner, he had nothing to say.....this is not the first time that has happend i found out from another player that other people got into the same situation than me, and apparently they told then samething computer has serial number, they also always have computer issues, not sure if this was reported, i feel they did injustice i wish i can rated less than one star.....i hope this will be investigated soon.

BE WARNED!!!!! This is officially the worst bingo hall in Austin. SERIOUSLY DON’T PLAY HERE. This hall is run by two inexperienced mangers that have no clue what they are doing and have no business doing it. I have watch by ideally as they have screwed other customers because of their mistakes. Their crew all though extremely nice; is woefully untrained by two individuals that have no idea what a professional bingo hall looks like.



I won a five hundred dollar game the caller closed the game, another person yelled bingo, the caller repeated the game was close, and the managers walked out verified the bingo and split the pot. The house rules clearly state that it is the customers responsibility to get the callers attention, the rules also state that once a game is closed that no other bingo's are valid. When I confronted the manager he explained to me he could do what ever he wanted and that if I didn’t like it then I could go somewhere else. Not one apology from the management. This is how they do business; they screw up and then screw you the customer! However the Texas Lottery states that you are to strictly follow your house rules. I will contact the lottery. I will file a complaint of misconduct. I will also tell anyone that will listen not to ever go to this bingo hall. I will always refer to them from this day forward as “Bush-League Bingo” because that is exactly what they are; a slice below the rest.



For anyone looking for a good honest Bingo Hall; Austin has many to offer to you. There’s B-12 Bingo, Riverside Bingo, Capital Bingo, River City Bingo, Lucky Lady, Creekside Bingo, and Georgetown Bingo. I have worked and played bingo for over 12 years I know most of the regular bingo players in this city and I’m fortunate to call most friends.



Again this is not the first bad posting this bingo hall has received, nor has this been the first complaint to Texas Lottery about them. I promise this will not be the last. The first day I was there 10 people won on the exact same computer, the same exact serial number, I’ve also watch as a lady keep on yelling computer problem and the caller acknowledge it, but continue the game and then that same person yelled bingo and the caller explain that they did not have the last number because the untrained caller continued on calling. When the customer complained the managers response was oh well sorry. Oh this one is my personal fav these idiots played a speedball event tab and verified the wrong number and when the lady with the correct number complained and asked to see the tab slip the manager straight up refused to show her. This is extremely illegal all bingo players have the right to see any winning tab. The manager explained he could do whatever he wanted. No he can’t. The manager is held to certain standards and if he spent any time to read the bingo enabling act he would have known this, but obviously he has not. He then offered to split the game, and did pay out half to one person and then half to the other person who actually won. This was a single winner game. How in the world can you split it? These guys just think that they can make up rules to suit themselves and could care less about you the paying customer. Or the caller that can’t read her own game schedule and is telling people to mark wild numbers for a game that doesn’t get them. They continually have computer problems because they can’t even ring them up correctly. I have never ever ever seen so many mistakes made by one bingo hall. These guys are a JOKE!



HEED MY WARNINGS this very well could be you one day writing a bad review about Bush-League Bingo. I never thought it would happen to me. But I got SCREWED and so could YOU!
