The owner, Michael Reed, is on the IICRC board of directors. He is chairman of the division that approves schools and instructors, and their text books for teaching the nine or more subject areas a cleaner/restorer can be certified in. He is famous within the industry, yet he doesn't boast of this to his clients; most don't even know this fact.
