I chose them initially because they were the local Sundance dealer. That spa has done well for years but recently had some problems heating up. They came out and replaced a thermostat and all is well. They always offered great customer service and it's nice to see that in the repair department as well.

The only thing better than the service was the pricing and selection. We have been looking for a while and are pleased to have found a great place like this.

They had plenty to chose from and helpful information from the kind staff there helped us to make an informed decision on our purchase.

We are very happy with the new hot tub and cant get enough. The folks at Austin Hot tubs helped us make an unformed decision and we will recommend the to everyone, as soon as we get out of the spa!

Everything they had was really nice quality and I was really well informed by the sales guy. Overall a great experience and I coulndt have chosen a better place to get a spa from.

They helped us to chose a larger than average tub that could accommodate a few extra people when the situation called for it. We settled on the grand caymen which is a great tub that looks sharp and has plenty of features.

We found just the right spa at Austin. They were helpful and informative. They helped us arrange for the install and we were soaking it up in a few days. I love having the hot tub to come home to.

The life and relaxation I get from 20 minutes in the hot tub is great, should have got one years ago. As for Austin Hot tubs and Spas, they have been perfect and really made the whole thing happen.

Always going above & beyond is the reason I have used Austin Spa & Pools for years.

Do NOT use this place unless you want hassle, poor service and surprise charges! I had them out to repair my hottub earlier in the year. The service tech made an initial visit to diagnose the problem and gave me an esimated cost. Once the new controller board arrived, he came back for installation and again told me the same price. Their office later called me to say that the tech was wrong and wanted to DOUBLE his labor charges - after the fact!! After a great deal of arguing, I finally relented and agreed to pay 50% more for the labor than originally quoted, even though I still did not agree with the charges.





The repair work appeared to be fine, but a few months later, I noticed a minor problem that also happened to be a potential safety risk. My hottub light was now always on, automatically turning back on if I turned it off. I called them to see if they had any suggestions for an easy fix. It took me almost an entire month before I actually talked to someone! I called and left several messages with no response. On three different occasions, the office asked to call me back within 15 minutes. No return calls. Once I was finally able to talk to someone, he was only interested in having me give them more money, insisting I would need to replace the board again and spend another $400! According to him there were absolutely no other options. He was completely unwilling to stand behind his work and hardware installed. Even worse, he was very condescending throughout the entire conversation, speaking to me as if I was a child. Sadly, he was the store manager!! Embarassing customer service!





Stay away from this place! There are plenty of other good hottub repair companies in Austin... Needless to say, I'm taking my business somewhere that places some value in their customer service.
