As a first-time homebuyer I was shopping around for rates and came across Austin First Mortgage recommended by my colleague who used them for their home in Austin. I decide to call them to know if they serve Houston area, in less than 15 minutes, I received the quotes from them with such fantastic rates that none of the other lenders could even come close. I decided to go with them. Since not local, I was worried about communication and service, but from day 1 their team did a fantastic job in putting things together step by step and getting my mortgage ready in time for a very short closing deadline. Daniele our loan officer was so easy to work with, she was very knowledgeable and responsive, answered my emails and phone calls right away. She explained everything and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend her! All paperwork and numbers were provided well before closing and allowed me to review everything in advance. Our closing costs came in even less than expected because she was able to offer multiple lender discounts on top of their low fees and no points charged for such good rate. Austin First Mortgage got 5 stars from our Real State Agent and our Closer as well, because our financing stood out against their other clients.

We recently refinance through Austin First Mortgage. Process was not that bad. We did run into some issues, but they were able to fix it without causing much delay. You do need to follow up with them on a regular basic. The bad part was after we closed the mortgage. We were inundated with mails from life and home insurance. Its almost a month and we keep getting 2-3 mails a day. Avoid if you can. There are many more mortgage company that are honest in the way they do their business. AFM- Please stop selling our information. We will be reporting them to BBB as well.

Annie was my loan processor. Who closed my several loans within a year. I have to say annie is the best ever loan processor. I am a real estate agent working with my clients for many different lenders. I understand how complicate the documents is, How other loan processors doing their work. Annie always work with clear logical protocol, can clearly answer questions, explain reasons, share her knowledge, very professional. She like to work extra hour to get the loan in time manners so we have no trouble for closing on time. She also very cooperative to other party as well such as title company, real estate agent. We don't mind legitimate reviews, but this is nonsensical. Of course our employees do not write reviews, they are way too busy, and by the way, that comment really borders on liable, as does the statement where you mention I speak very broken English. We process thousands of loans per year, and receive very few complaints. You can't always please 100% of the population, but we do extremely well overall on the lack of negative reviews relative to our loan processing rate per year.



So let us know who you really are Lily K., so we can research your loan, and the outcome of all interactions with you. If you're going to make these allegations, please have the guts to reveal yourself, and by the way, prove you're not a competitor.

My boyfriend and I just purchased our first house in Austin, TX. We shopped around for a few mortgage company for lower loan rate. Austin First Mortgage gave us the best rate. Austin First Mortgage is not the first mortgage company I've ever worked with but it's the best one. My loan has a very tight schedule which needs to be done in 21 days. They are professional and respond your questions very fast. My loan is done during 21 days and the cost is highly competitive with others. High recommend.

Austin First Mortgage worked seamlessly with me for my first mortgage. The seller demanded we should close within one month, which was a really tight schedule. We communicated using the phone, the email without any hiccup. My case was a bit complicated so the lender at one point suspended my application. The staffs at Austin First Mortgage gave me some professional advice and i was able to clarify to the lender and reactivated my case. We were able to close on time and smoothly. Fairly pleasant experience overall working with this company. We closed on time with no issues. It was our first time buying a house and virtually all the processes including were new to us. I requested quotes from several different lenders. The rate AFM offered was simply not matched by anyone else's--I did go through all the payments and other charges to back out the effective rate myself and that was still the case. I talked to Nancy, Jane and Danielle (our loan processor) quite often, they were knowledgeable about the business, always stayed on top of things and communicated information to us actively. Danielle was also highly organized with her work. The whole process went much more smoothly than expected with her help. Five stars.

I worked with Nancy Sun and Danielle Wang and they really helped me with my closing. Earlier (prior to knowing them) I worked with a Houston lender, they promised me the loan gave me pre-approval and after filling out their application and submitting dozens of forms and emails they came back stating I may not be approved and that, my preapproval was contingent which they never told me. With Nancy they not only preapproved me but with Danielle's thoroughness my loan was approved and closed with same int rate as the other company in less than 2.5 weeks. My title company told me that, they had never seen such a short closing time. I would recommend Nancy and Austin First Mortgage to anyone, definately you have to shop around and as long as you have their acurate GFE Nancy will try to match the price and give you same best service.
