Overall
Underground is the armpit of Atl

I don't know why anyone would recommend to tourists to go here. As a local, I can tell you there are a plethora of better places around the city to shop. It was a pretty cool place in the late 90's, during and after the Olympics, but now it is unclean and unsafe. The Marta stop nearby is not only a convenience, but probably also the cause of all the crime. Underground needs an overhaul. I gave it two stars for it's historical value and unique location, but I personally would not go there. Please, if you are from out of town, go somewhere else.
