The Savannah Room is part of the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, which opened its doors in 1957, making us the second-oldest restaurant in Athens, GA. We have maintained a unique personality and several traditions throughout our long history, including our famous Strawberry Ice Cream Pie. Nowadays, the Savannah Room is home to Executive Chef Rob Harrison.The Savannah Room is part of the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, which opened its doors in 1957, making us the second-oldest restaurant in Athens, GA.
