Model Citizen Salon

Having moved from a place with no humidity to Athen, my hair was a disaster and in need of a good cut and color. Having read about Model Citizen Salon in the newspaper I really liked their art based philosophy and wanting to give the salon an Athens feel. I checked out their website, read the stylists' bios, and knew this was the place for me.



Being involved with social media professionally I liked that Model Citizen was hip to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and also offered online scheduling.



I met with co-owner Shayne and we discussed my color needs (grey hair) and what she would do to get my hair better suited to the climate. She did an amazing job with the color, cut and styling. It's hard to find a stylist who can pull off all three!



Everyone was super friendly and the salon's a really cool looking space, too. I'll be back!
