Originally from Rockford, IL, she remained in the Midwest to pursue her studies, and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa in 1998. General Dentistry
Dr. Jaime Peterson has been caring for our patients for over eight years and practicing in WNC for more than 12. Patients enjoy her warm, caring demeanor and attention to cosmetic detail. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Peterson developed an interest in dentistry while volunteering at the Children’s Hospital’s dental clinic as an undergraduate. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in chemistry. She received her dental degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 and was selected for an all-intensive dental residency at MAHEC in Asheville. That year, she met her future husband, a Hendersonville native, and decided to put down some southern roots. Dr. Peterson remains committed to staying proficient in the latest techniques and technology in dentistry. In 2020, after completing over 100 hours of education in implant dentistry and over 500 hours of overall dental education, she earned fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry and the ICOI, an international dental implant association. Dr. Peterson continues to serve the community and has provided volunteer dental care in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica and the Free Clinics of Hendersonville, as well as, recently, with Baptists on a mission in Marshall, North Carolina. Dr. Peterson lives in Hendersonville with her husband, Joe, two kids, E.J. and Lily, and their three dogs. As a sports enthusiast, you can find her hiking, biking, kayaking, coaching her daughter’s softball team or watching her beloved Steelers play. Here We Go!
