They just did my roof and I think they are a quality company. Long time in business, no complaints through BBB and very professional from start to finish. A fly by night roofing service drove by our home, looked at roof and got us started. The insurance adjuster told us to use whomever we pleased. So we did our research, and chose KFS. The pros- very friendly (at all levels of interaction from every person), got insurance to pay more than they first wanted to, nice choice of shingles, fast, long time in business with good service recordThe cons- not to be nit-picky but these are issues that occurred and I want to be an impartial source of information. - minors- garden hose left our of place and detached, a few shingles left in yard (scraps), rain sensor was left off initiallymajors- shed not roofed (was told it should be on 1st visit, ins. left off), ridge vents delayed (slight paperwork snafu) Overall an excellent company.

Flawless!

KFS was a referral to me by a co-worker.. I had several other people come out before KFS came but no one could compete with KFS.. Once they came I signed a contract with them and got the work done the next week..



They beat the other contractors in price, excellence, professionalism and warranty.. They where on time and very cautious of my needs for roofing..





Thank you KFS.. God forbid another hail storm but if it comes I know who I'm calling..

Roofing company of the Year!!!

Kenneth Farmer and his staff is the real deal when it comes to contracting services..



They where well represented by the BBB and it showed why when they came to the door.



The representative DJ was sharp and seemed to always stay in control of the roof project.. He even brought his Dad out to visit who is the General Manager of the company.. Very accessible!



Great job all the way around.. Luis and his crew was some of the best I've ever seen.. We had people stopping by all day asking how they can get in-touch with KFS.. DJ I better get my referral fee's.. J/K!!

Wow! Couldn't be Happier!!!

My wife and I had very little knowledge of how all the insurance stuff worked or anything about roofing. We called KFS and DJ the project manager came-out him-self and handled everything with Confidence but also was very mannerly in his aproach to my wife and I. He walked us step by step through the process without any pressure while giving us all the information needed to make our decision.. He was able to save me several hundred dollars with his ability to deal with my insurance.. KFS is by far the best decision you could make for any work needed to be done on your roof..



They had me taken care of in less than a day.. AWESOME!!

Couldn't be happier with any other company!

KFS has done several jobs for me over the past 20 years, both at my home and at my business, and they have been great to work with. They are not only a friendly, prompt and professional company but are also very thorough. I have had absolutely no problems with my roof, my yard was well taken care of and many of my neighbors chose to go with KFS after seeing their work. In this day and time it is very refreshing to have the security in knowing that you will not be taken advantage of and will be dealing with a company that looks out for the customer. The owner, Kenny Farmer truly cares about the customer and making sure the job is done to their exact desire. I would recommend this company to everyone.

WE WERE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. THE SALESMAN WAS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THE BID WAS NOT THE LOWEST BID, BUT WE FELT MORE COMFORTABLE WITH KFS REPUTATION AND GOOD WARRANTY. THE ROOFING CREW WAS FAST AND CLEANED UP GOOD. WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ROOF WITH NO LEAKS. COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. KFS IS DEFINITELY OUR ROOFING COMPANY.

very impressive

Over the last 35 years, I've had my roof re-done 4 times. And hands down, and I've never had a better experience...KFS did exactly what they said that they would do. These guys don't play around when its time to do the actual work. They were finished in one day, and didn't trash our yard or our flowers, clean-up was super. and we got every penny back on our insurance...It rained very hard last night, and we don't have any leaks...My wife and I are VERY VERY HAPPY...We are glad that we chose them!!!

These guys are GREAT!!!

All that we could ever want in a Roofing Company...They even showed us some mistakes that the adjuster had made on our insurance claim, and got the insurance to pay us more money, which helped us immensely. Luis, the crewleader, was fantastic. A very professional installation, and it only took a day...OMG...One day for a complete tear-off, and re-do. We were impressed! We will have no problem recommending KFS or using them again! Kenny Farmer, the owner, has a 1st class operation going...

A great experience...Not the cheapest bid, but definitely worth the difference...They did a fantastic job, from our estimator, to the roofing crew, and their excellent clean-up...Courteous and Professional...Would do business again...We recommend 100%

BAD Service!!!

Oh no, Please save yourself the hassel and do not go with this company!



I think it was more my representative, than the company, but just don't chance it! Do your research, get several quotes an choose who you feel is being the most upfront and honest and cost effective!



My representative, D.J. told me "Oh, ya, well I'm sorry I didn't call you back. If I don't write things down, then I forget what I tell customers." (Well ya know you need to write it down, then write it down!)



He told me he was going to call me to set up a time and date, and we'd confirm the color and type of roof. Well I got no phone call to set up an appotinment. Instead I got a phone message that went like this" Hey, I am sending my guys over right now. They're going to pick up materials and be at your house in a hour."



Also, He guaranteed me some information that was completely bogus! Instead of paying $1,500 out of pocket, I was going to have to pay $2,500 out of pocket for the roof we had discussed.



Just make sure when you are replacing your roof, you understand everything the roofing company and your insurance adjuster are telling you.

As the owner, of KFS, it is my deepest regret, and humiliating responsibility, to admit that, "WE FLUBBED UP", on part of our responsibility to exercise due diligence, and communicate, in a clearer, and more timely manner, with this valued customer... Although it is my heart, and soul, to lead my company, to provide only the highest standard in business excellence, WE ARE HUMAN, with feet of clay, and will, occasionally, make those inevitable errors in judgement and action...But these are not by INTENT, nor, do they have any MALICE behind them...They are just human errors. Sometimes, they are by commisission, sometimes, by omission...Either way, they are not acceptable, and we try to do our best to correct it, and be better in the future...I do offer my sincerest, and heartfelt, apology that we fell short of the mark of excellence, in explaining things better, and not being more precise on our phone timing... I assure the public, that might read this review, and my reply, that neither myself, nor any of my management group take this sort of adverse feedback "lightly"...In fact, I'm thankful for this customer's input. As "Captain of my ship", I need my customer's feedback, good, or bad, so that I can keep a pulse on what is happening with my staff, and make the corrections necessary to keep the overall direction of my company on the right track... I have already taken steps to minimize these misteps from happening again...As our easily verified 25-year "sterling" record of NO COMPLAINTS with the local BBB will bear out, KFS.Inc. does care about its name, and tries to do things right...And we will learn from this, and use it to do better in the future... In fairness, and for balance, the customer's review omits a fact that is crucially germaine to the central truth of what happened here...Their insurance funding came in for LESS than what it should have been...Their same insurance company was payiing more than what they got paid, for identical shingles in their neighborhood... Our quote to them for an upgraded shingle was based upon the premise of their funding being what it should have been...not what it came in at...We knew that we had enough in funding to offer the upgrade...However, this customer's adjustment was not funded like other identical ones like it...We pressed the insurance for a redress of shortage, but to no avail...So the out-of-pocket costs increase was, in truth, due to shortages in their insurance funding...NOT "BOGUS" information from us, as alleged...At the customer's request, they opted for a shingle that was in line with both their budget, and their insurance funding...So we proceded...The other 95% of our business transaction with this customer was deemed SATISFACTORY as per a signed Certificate of Completion and we were paid...A ridgevent upgrade, which was originally to be funded with the higher expected funding, was added to the finished roof, at NO CHARGE. In closing, the review, brings up valid customer service issues, which we acknowlege, and apologize for, and to which we pledge to be more diligent, in our communication efforts...Sadly, the omission of the insurance funding shortages, which were completely out of the domain of KFS' control, yields a very harsh indictment on our company, which, unfortunately, can lead an uninformed potential customer, to have an incomplete, and distorted view of our otherwise great, and easily verifiable excellent record of behavior in the community...

Great

I called them because of the previous review. Terry was friendly and came the morning after I called. No other roofers would even come out for an estimate for at least two to three weeks. His price was excellent and they started the job just about three weeks since we had spoken. Best of all, they finished in one day and they did a fantastic job. His crew cleaned up the mess and even put my satellite dish back where it had been. I will call them again.
