        A year ago I went to Dr. Schinke for an ingrown toenail. She removed the edge of my toenail. Less than a week later, it became infected. It hurt so bad I missed three days of work. I went back to Dr. Schinke and was given a prescription for antibiotics. Shortly after I received a bill for almost $600 for this minor procedure. I called and complained about the price but was told that is the cost so I paid the bill in full. Imagine my shock when I received another bill almost a year later for another $117 for a follow up visit. This clinic is a total rip-off and I would advise you to avoid it at all costs.

        Our patients health and well-being is of the greatest concern to us and we strive to meet our patients expectations. We are disappointed when we do not meet those expectations. Occasionally, infections regrettably do occur. Prompt attention to get it resolved is critical and follow up evaluation is prudent to ensure that the infection is indeed resolved.
