Great veterinarians and friendly atmosphere. My dogs love to come here, and I do too! Dr. Barnard has been taking care of my dogs for years and she is very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!!!

My cat can get "cranky" when she goes to the vet, so I was nervous when she began to limp. I am so glad my friend recommended Dr. Waller! He and his staff went slowly and took time with her so she was not upset like she usually is with vets. She tore a knee ligament and needed surgery. She healed so well and is not limping anymore! I am so relieved I found someone as caring as Dr. Waller. Now I don't have to worry if my cat gets sick!

Lost a Dog that ended up dead

The local newspaper wrote this story. See more reviews on Google. A family brought their dog in for a routine teeth cleaning... this vet did the cleaning, then somehow lost the dog it in cold, wet weather. Somehow, the staff here let the animal lose, and then out their doors. GONE. They proceeded to waited several hours to call the owners, who eventually found their dog dead on the side of the Interstate 17. Very sad!!

I have taken all of my dogs an...

I have taken all of my dogs and cats here for years and I would never trust anyone else with the care of my fury family members. The doctors are knowledgeable and caring, and the staff is so friendly! They are great with my older pets too, and words cannot describe my appreciation for their compassion when I've gone through difficult times with my best friends. They really work with me to find what works best for me and my pets, like finding medications that I can easily give and offering financing when I've had emergencies. I would highly recommend them. Also, their groomers did a great job doing a lion trim on my cat and were very patient with my 16 year old Cocker Spaniel. I completely trust Dr. Waller and Dr. Barnard and their staff and will continue to recommend them to everyone!

I am super happy with the way the groomer did my cat! I didnt really know what I wanted and I just asked her to make him clean and take a little hair off all over. WOW! I love the way he looks!

I have taken my dogs and cats here for years and I would never trust anyone else with the care of my fury family members. The doctors are knowledgeable and caring, and the staff is friendly and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr. Waller, Dr. Barnard and their staff. Also, the groomers are great with my cat and older dog!

We took our dog (Maltese 13 po...

We took our dog (Maltese 13 pounds) in for a teeth cleaning and the next time I saw her was when I found her dead on the Interstate 17. This story was on the news on Fri Dec 2, 2011 (Google &quot;Vet Loses Dog&quot;). The vet said when I arrived to pick her up &quot;We have good news and bad news. The good news is that her teeth cleaning went well, the bad news is she's lost....we lost her.&quot; We searched for 2 hours without any help or even 1 telephone call from the vet before we found her crushed. The vet didn't say sorry or do anything for us.

Don't go to them

I called and asked to have my pets shots current and a full grooming service. After being put in a room for 20 minutes, my pet got his shots but then the vet said they didn't do grooming that day. They only lured me in for two shots at $85 and tried to get me to come back.

Deceptive business practices

They quoted one price for grooming and then charged me 20% more. When I asked why, all they could say was "because". If they will lie and cheat you on one small service, they will probably lie and cheat you with more important services. I would not trust my pets health to these people.

Dental Care
Most dogs and cats need dental cleanings annually but this can differ based on age and the individual pet’s needs. After a careful evaluation of your pets’ dental health, our doctors can give you a specific recommendation for your pets’ dental needs.
Vaccination
Your pet’s health and safety is of utmost importance to us. Your pet stylist will notify you of any abnormalities they may find while grooming your pet so you may consult with a veterinarian. For their safety, your pets must be up-to-date on their vaccinations; please check with us for current vaccine requirements.

Nutritional Counseling
Parasites can cause many diseases, some life threatening. Signs of parasitism include diarrhea or soft stools, vomiting, lethargy, weight loss, poor coat, coughing and difficulty breathing.
Comprehensive Examination
All animals need wellness exams at different points in their lives. For example, a puppy or kitten should be seen every 3 weeks up until they are 16 weeks old for examination and booster vaccines. As an adult, wellness exams are recommended annually or more often. Depending on your pet’s individual needs, your doctor may recommend a different care schedule for your pet. A highly contagious, stable virus that is spread by fecal-oral route. This means any place an infected dog defecates can store this virus. When another dog sniffs or walks through an infected area, they can pick up the virus. The virus can also be spread by people and insects. This virus causes SEVERE illness, and can be deadly. Common signs include vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, severe lethargy (weakness), and loss of appetite. Vaccinations create a strong immunity and are very important to prevent the disease.

As dental disease progresses, it can become very painful to your pet. They can develop significant infections in their mouths, and dental disease can contribute to other health problems such as heart disease and kidney disease. By doing routine dental cleanings, we are able to prevent your pet from ever having to experience this kind of discomfort and illness.
Kidney Disease Treatment
This is a disease that affects many animals, including people. It is caused by bacteria called Leptospira interrogans, which has many different strains called serovars. It is spread in the urine of infected animals and other animals then get the disease by contact with contaminated water. This disease causes severe kidney damage, and while treatable, can cause kidney failure and death. Not all animals will get sick from the bacteria, these animals are called carriers and live with the bacteria, but spread it to other animals that may then get sick. The vaccination to protect against this is not considered core in our region, but may be recommended for pets that travel or spend lots of time near bodies of water, such as when camping or hiking.
Periodontal Disease Treatment
Tartar, gingivitis, broken teeth, periodontal disease, and growths are very common in the mouths of middle-aged and older pets. We recommend you check your pet’s mouth regularly and, if your pet will allow it, brush their teeth. Most of the disease we find is farther back in the mouth, so make sure you inspect the back teeth.

X-Ray
Dental Radiology
After your pet is admitted in the morning they will have any pre-anesthetic preparations done (such as pre-operative bloodwork and placing an IV catheter). Your pet is then anesthetized by a doctor and one of our experienced veterinary technicians will begin the dental cleaning process – much like a dental hygienist at your dental office. Dental x-rays are also performed at this time. After the x-rays are taken and the teeth are cleaned and polished, the doctor will evaluate your pet’s teeth, gums and mouth, as well as any x-rays taken. If evaluation is normal your pet goes into recovery at that time. If any abnormalities are noted by the doctor, they will call you with a recommendation for further treatment.
Microchipping
Microchipping provides an extra level of protection in case your pet is lost or loses his collar and tags. Using a large gauge needle, a tiny chip is implanted just under the skin, usually between the shoulder blades. No anesthesia is necessary. In case of a stray or lost pet, veterinarians and animal shelters can use a special scanner to read the information on the chip, and contact the owner of the pet.
