The Meeting Place is a good traditional meat and three southern style with choices of salads and desserts, etc. They serve turkey and dressing daily which is good as well as their chicken pot pie. Veggies are fresh cooked and good. The price is reasonable...but, bring cash..they do not take debit or credit cards

You won't find another restaurant around that has real home cooked food not from a can! My brother introduced me to The Meeting Place and I love it so much! We go on Tuesdays a lot because I love the lemon pepper chicken so much. I've always hated lemon pepper stuff. This chicken falls off the bone. But I don't taste the lemon much and they always have fried chicken, chicken potpie, turkey and dressing everyday and then another meat or 2. The vegetables are homemade, not from a can. And they have a lot to choose from. And also pie for dessert and also fruit and cottage cheese. The price is so cheap and you get a lot of food and sweet tea and a roll, biscuit, or cornbread with it. This place is so amazing I would give it 10 stars if I could. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Check it out!

I have always considered this one of my favorite restaurants. Me and my best friend who is visiting here from Florida (because her husband is stationed there for the Army) decided to take our kids there to eat for lunch. We were rudely embarrassed by the waitress telling my friend she had to get up and could not sit at the table until we had all been thru the line. She then rudely told me too in front of everyone. It was impossible for us to go thru the line with all our kids and then find a seat. We asked the manager why they would make us do that and he rudely responded and then yelled at me down the hall to hurry and close the door because I was letting flies in. Needless to say I can no longer call this one of my favorite restaurants.

Most Sundays you will find us here enjoying dinner as good as my grandmother used to make.Meats, veggies, desserts are all awesome!Yummy doesnt come close to describing the food!
