Southerner Motor Lodge

The Southerner Motor Lodge is a benevolent solution for people that would otherwise go indigent. Located at 1310 Williamston Rd in Anderson South Carolina; it has been family owned for over thirty-three (33) years. It offers low price overnight lodging and very modest price extended stay lodging which many low-income, elderly and incapacitated persons, with minimum income seek; many keeping it as their home for as long as sixteen (16) years. City of Anderson South Carolina Police Department (C.A.P.D.) day and night, checks as a General Service Buildings and Grounds knowing that so many elderly and disable live at the lodge.

I have no clue about the two good reviews on here it may have been already decent in 2006 and 2007 but now in 2015/2016 it is what I would call a roach motel or a bed bug motel I am here now and only because this is the cheapest motel in Anderson and all I can afford but it is not worth it by no means I do not recommend this piece of s**t in the mornings you have to put your own towels outside your door and after they do laundry you get a grocery bag with your towels back but this is the only thing they I guess kind of do they are last and won't even answer phone calls if you need something most the time and Mrs Patel is very hateful all the time matter of fact when I leave here I am calling dhec I'm calling OSHA , the better business bureau and I am getting them for false advertising because online when u Google the Southerner motor lodge it says free Wifi oh no no no no it is 2 dollars a day for each person that needs to use it and I am doing this all n the same say because onilosly they were able to get dehec paid off the last time bc this place is terribly nasty discussing I don't think you should come here matter fact if it wasn't wintertime when iI come I'd rather stay in a tent

This place is a drug den, eye sore, nasty place! Pretty certain a guy got killed there in a police shootout last year! It needs to be bulldozed to the ground.
