Bullfeathers Lake Side Grille & Tiki Hut

i work in road construction out of town alot and often order from online menus to pick up on way to motel. wanted to try bullfeathers bacon wrapped and cheese stuffed bar-b-q shrimp.online menu said came with two sides. when i called to place order was told by amber "the manager for a month" that it came with slaw and hushpuppies...no choices without paying for substitution. with all the people out of work in this nation how can anyone be considered for managment without knowing their menu as it appears in the restaurant and online. the next week i was working in anderson i decided to go any way...this shrimp sounded so good....got my order and went to hotel to eat....opened box and it was shrimp on a skewer that was grilled, had cheese sprinkled on it and then brushed with bar-b-q. closest thing to bacon any where in sight was the hog wash excuses i got from the manager on duty when i went back to complain and show them their online menu. had the hotel manager print their menu for me and took it to bullfeathers to show the manager. got to speak to ryan " the manager who had only been back as manager for a few weeks" he said "they didn't have bacon on it ?". while he was refunding my company card, which i told him would make my boss happy but not me, i grabbed one of their menus. when he came back i asked why he was surprised that they were not wrapped in bacon when their menu in house doesn't mention bacon. he had to ask one of the waitresses if their shrimp was still wrapped in bacon. also got the excuse that the website was out of date. i asked if LaurenCampbell bullfeathersPR@gmail.com

864-261-7890 was still their public relations person, and he said yes but he was not going to bother her with this because she had had a death in the family a few weeks ago. if this is true my sympathies to her and her family but she needs to get new managers asap.

bottom line....the shrimp were as bad as the managment staff, did not touch the coleslaw never have liked the stuff, and the hushpuppies were good.the catfish was also good, had a buy one get one entree coupon and i love cold fried fish leftover at the jobsite for breakfast. the only people i would recommend this place to are boaters that want a cold beer, they have a dock on the lake with a bar next to it, and anyone living in anderson that wants a job as a restaurant manager. most important qualification is the ability to read and learn the menu as offered in house and online.

it's sad, i would not have been mad enough to write this if only they had known what was going on and said they were working on correcting their website
