Top Speed

This business is a rip-off, I took my Modified car Toyota Supra with a 3.4L stroker engine to this shop to get it tuned and fix a couple of thing on the car back in 2011. During the Dyno it was a mishap and they blamed it on the size spring of one of the wastegate, which i think is bogus because i installed those spring and they both were the same size, but anyway they are so call expert so i left it at is, then I got an email saying that it was the size of the catch can that the car had, so at this point I didn't know what to think so since they are the expert I didn't argued. so we came into an agreement that we will split the cost of the rebuilt and go half and half on the labor. so they call me saying that the car was ready they gave a bogus dyno chart claiming that the car made aroung 800RWHP on the Dyno, but I notice something wrong that chart didn't have any name on top of the chart because usually when you get your dyno sheets you have all the information including the owners name and mine was not on that sheet. so I didn't pay that much attention to it since I was happy that my car was ready. so when we went to the car he told me that when I first start the car I have to stay inside the car about 10 to 15 min until the car is warm-up, right there I notice that that was not normal. so I tested the car around and the car drove nicely, so I loaded it in the trailer and took it home. so at home I use the car not even three day when I started to have problems with the car, on the third day the car shut off in my driveway and couldn't started back again. I tried remote tuning from texas from MVP motorsports and the tuner told me that he couldn't do anything after two weeks of trying that I had a big electrical shortage on the IAVC, and that was one thing that Topspeed should have fixed when they did the dyno, so that tell me that they bypass that in order to get the car out of the shop since the car spent three years in the shop and they went through 3 different mechanics working in my car. so I decided to take it to Florida to Induction Performance (IP) where I changed the Computer From AEM to Pro EFI 128 and explain the tuner what was wrong with the car so they did, the first Dyno the email me and told me that the car was smoking and I told them that the car had a brand new rebuild 3.4L Done by Topspeed Motorsport (TSM), so they sent the turbo to get check to see if the turbo was the cause of the smoke, the turbo cam back good , so the next step was to sent the engine to be checked, they find out that the valve stem seal had to be replaced, then he asked me (IP) that what kind of build I had I told him that was a 3.4L engine, he told me that what they rebuild was a 3.0 a stock engine. I brought that car as a 3.4L modified engine and came out as a stock engine. The agreement was pay half and half so if you have a 3.4L engine if you replaced the pistons you have to replace the piston with the same or equal quality and size the car had, or the pistons were 86mm I had 87mm piston, so this Motorsport committed fraud and I want my money back for everything they were supposed had done to it, because was a lie to a honest customer. if you need documentation from Induction Performance plesase let me know I will provide those where they will tell you what the engine was when they opened it. If I didn't take the car to this shop I wouldn't never find out what they did, Im glad I did and I want justice done and I will pursue compensation for the fraud that TSM committed.
